#15 The Hunter And The Hunted Act.II

It seems that I've been teleported into the other dimension. That thief is probably the one who threw me into this place and trying to dump me in confusion where he's going to make me think that there's two enemy I am going to face. If that's what he want to make me believe then so be it. I am not going to just surrender here because I've fallen into enemy's trap.

By the way, the dimension of his quite light and weak to break if I compared to the colonel's. If his power just as strong as this dimension then I am in luck since I could beat his crap as easy as hitting the sandbag. The problem is, I wonder if this dimension is intended to just slow me down since I could break it easily.

Then, "Let's give it a go."

I closed my eyes, cleansing my mind, and focusing my magic flow inside my body to release me from this fabricated dimension. Slowly, my surrounding become teared apart and sound of flowing liquid ringing in my ears. I opened my eyes and soon seeing the truth behind the fragile dimension I just witness.

"I see, a dimension inside a dimension. What a joke."

Here, I am locked in a cage made by glasses that looks like a tube. I look on my surroundings then saw that there's more tube like this imprisoning people inside. This place is like a cage of a specimen from experiment laboratory. Thus since I am here, I might be one of many specimen who wakes first out of the expectation.

I immediately broke the glasses and make my way out of here.

Outside, I see even more tube imprisoning people inside unconsciously. This place is like madness itself and I speculate that if I am not struggling even sooner I might be out of conscious like the other here. These people can't get out of their self since the technique of fleeing from dimension is still taboo. And yes, they are the people who reported went missing in the document. Thus, I could see the landlord lady imprisoned here.

"So they are not dead yet and the killer is not yet become the killer."

"You ! How did you get out of there ?" someone yelled to me.

Seems the killer who's hide inside the shadow has finally shown himself to the hunter who is in the hunt. Like a deer who approach the lion, he won't easily get out of the way. But this may can't be true, he's way too fool if he ain't speculate this probability. Though, he seems angry for seeing me breaking out.

"That level of hypnotize won't easily work on me, you know." I explain.

"Well, that's left me no choice. I shall absorb the energy of life directly from the source." said the killer sticking out his hand.

Something appear surrounding his hand. A green black aura covering both of his hand and turn it into a gloves full of spike and claws. Phantasmagorical magic indeed, a witch typical magic who've forbidden to ever use again in this world. I wonder if he linked to the other witches somewhere in this world.

"Let's see if a human like you could overcome the threat, the power of the old world." threaten the killer.

"Everything is worth to try, even if it cost ones life." I took the rifle behind my back and a bayonet knife behind my uniform jacket then attached them together to get ready on my battle stance, "Especially, when you had a gun."

Suddenly, in this vast empty place I am standing, there's a faint sound of a man and a girl shouting at each other getting closer. We stand still hearing that sound echoing closer and closer as we focused to hear that sound. Something like "don't get closer" could be heard from a guy who approach this place.

"You hear that ? I thought we are the only one who occupy this place." I ask him.

"Hmmm.... That could be one thing." he sound disappointed.

Not long after, a silhouette take a shape of a man chased by a girl appeared in an unexpected direction. They shout as loud as they can and yet to realize that they have changed dimension. The man is look alike the killer I am going to face and the girl is none other than Gatto Nera herself.

"Ah ! Boss !!!"

The man realize it first, he threw the colonel's weapon towards the killer. But then, Nera saves the day. She immediately jumped then grab the weapon and took it back into her possession. And so the man won't give up, he turn back and punch Nera in the face then tried to take back the weapon. Unfortunately, Nera is not that weak so she could defend the weapon all her might and still on her possession.

A contest of the tug of war is held by the both of them.

I use my gun to shoot the man and make him release his hand from the weapon. Meanwhile, the killer charge and grab the man to release the weapon so he wouldn't get shoot by me. Thus, the contest won by Nera and she keep the weapon on her possession. Such a good combo we had tonight defending the weapon.

"Nera ! You did a great job." I compliment her.

"Master.... Cade ? Is that you Cade ?! CADE !!!" Nera excited. She immediately run and come into my side. "I apologize for letting my guard down earlier. I shouldn't have letting you out of my sight."

Somehow, I feel underestimated

The killer and the man who look alike him then stand side by side. They are yet to speak each other but the man who look alike him retreated away from the killer. I don't know what are they up to but they may talk to each other using telepathy or similar. The man immediately dispersed and back to the original dimension, leaving the killer with me and Nera.

"Cade Valentine, is that your name, correct ?" the killer ask me.

"No."

"It's no good to lie, I've known you since you sentenced to be exiled and make a contract with the devil."

Dammit it's no good either. I forget to tell Nera for hiding my real name from now on. I hope that he doesn't know that I've become a wizard after hearing that real name of mine. But if he don't, then everyone is right about my face changed so much. Can't, I can't let my insecure become my enemy.

"What do we do now, Cade ? The deer has meet a group of a lion, I hope we don't spare him after all this effort." said Nera.

"You know the answer, right ? Let's unleash our hatred."

"Milady, Abra and his servant is already at the rendezvous point." said Majordome.

"Let them having fun for a while." answer Tania.

Then, Tania continue her writing. She looks focused, moving her pen and finger in a rhythm on the dancing floor. Since his master busy of her own matters, Majordome stepped out from her office and letting her enjoy her own silence. But then, the dark knight showed himself after waiting the silence come by once again.

"What's your business here, The Black Swordsman, Kai Eleanor." greet Tania in cold tone.

"Well well well, as the first rank of The Princess Claw, I didn't expect your coldness towards me." say him ominously.

"You are a failure, that seat has taken to another worthy successor." Tania stop writing then close her book then stare menacingly at him.

"Ho... That's because they are too foolish for accept your offer and blind to the greater success before them."

The light start blinking, a white blade suddenly appeared and threaten The Black Swordsman neck until a single drip of blood fell. The true first ranked from The Princess Claw appear and become the one who dare to point his blade towards The Black Swordsman. He stand behind him calmly and steadily, ready to finish The Black Swordsman anytime Tania gave the signal.

"That word is quite inappropriate for milady." threaten the First Claw.

"Tiny Devil, I hope you still wear that title appropriately like you used to be." The Black Swordsman then move The First Claw blade with ease. He then take his leave after awhile looking at his beautiful sharp white sword, "Don't you dare getting softer, Tiny Devil."

After The Black Swordsman out of their shadow, The First Claw put on his blade to its scabbard and remain vigilant. He cross his arm and lean his back to the wall behind him. Meanwhile, Tania grab her shoulder since she was bleeding on her back without The First Claw knowledge, until now.

"That disrespectful soldier, who do he think he talk to." said The First Claw distempered.

"Enough, Iga. We have no right--"

"Mrs. Colonel, is that really fine for you to be bullied all the way even when he mess with your body ?!" Iga confirm.

"Iga, do you tried to kill him when you place your blade against his neck ?"

"Of course. Though he have a sturdy neck to cut."

"That's my answer, I always letting you to kill him."

"Understood, Mrs. Colonel."

Meanwhile, on the other place, Majordome and The Black Swordsman passing to each other. He bump on Majordome's shoulder but couldn't even flinch him a little. For a moment, they stare at each other ominously. Majordome with his sharp eye and The Black Swordsman with his scary face, exchange their gaze, eyes to eyes.

"You know well about your master."

"And you have disrespectful to your own former master."

After a short dialogue, they continue their path and Majordome success avenge his master. He put a wound on The Black Swordsman arm and he couldn't do a single thing about it since he well know him what is going to happen if he make a trouble with him. The Black Swordsman leave the office peevishly.

Majordome knock his master office and enter politely. He bring a kit to treat his master wound since he well know what is going to happen if they both meet at each other. Tania sit on her chair and relaxing on her shoulder since her wound on her back going to be treated.

"Iga, I allow you to leave." Order Tania.

"Then, I'll taking my leave."
