«The board is working on the list of candidates. Both the names you chose passed the selection. The next CEO will probably be your man, boss,» Morgan said.
«Good,» Chris said, reviewing the papers in front of him.
«He will need a few months to adjust, so it won't be weird if you come here to check from time to time. You will be quite busy, though.»
«A good excuse to avoid boring parties.»
Morgan raised his brows, dumbfounded. «Do you need an excuse to avoid those?»
He knew the boss didn't go often to events unless there was a good reason to. Chris ignored his question and moved on with the work.
