Not A Robbery (Part 3)

The lights were back on and Leila was subtle in her movement to avoid any noise. The building was quiet, too quiet. If Leila was not aware of the invasion, she would not have noticed. Nolan, on the other hand, walked with the same subtle movement behind her.

Two knives with the blades away from him as he grips the handle tight. In no time, they were back in the sitting room and the couches and many other things broken were scattered all around.

The television screen was broken, with a few glasses lying around. The pillows lie at different corners of the living room, torn. Leila could only let out a sigh on staring at the state of her living room.

Leila stood still, looking all around. She did not want to move around too much and be caught off guard. After five minutes, she speaks, "Fay?"

Fay, who understood why Leila was calling her, replied, "They are gone"

"And you could do nothing while they did this" Leila motioned around
