In Her Clutches

It was bad enough that he cannot make out what his heart had been doing to him, and now he just let his men go into her dungeon. He quickly takes out his smartwatch and tries contacting them, but as expected, it was useless.

Nolan plops down on the chair as his eyes go blank. A few minutes later, the quiet room was taken over by the ringing of his phone. His eyes angrily darts towards the phone that was laid flat at the side of the room.

He reluctantly stands and walks to the phone. Despite his annoyance, his entire body became cold upon grabbing the phone and taking a look at the caller ID. The phone stops ringing, but then it begins ringing again.

After some seconds, he swipes on the partially broken screen and places it over his ear. "How far are you in getting my job done?" the voice at the other end questioned authoritatively

"I'm on it" Nolan replied, matching the attitude of the person on the other end
