Louis walked on the corridor that lead to the throne room it wasn't until after an hour that he had a meeting with the council but he decided to go there early he wanted to see the realm wizard.

The wizard was known for his great power he could see the future in the past many kingdoms had offered the wizard gift and heavy pay to become their personal wizard but Louis had his ways.

Louis stepped into his throne room and went to sit on his throne he used his mind link to tell his hand to summon the wizard.

Nicklaus was a vampire known for having the same cruel personality as Louis he had been the the hand of the king for three decades.

He had just lost his wife Caroline to childbirth while he was out in a war with the witches he wasn't in his sound mind to do the duties of a king's hand he was also the king's advisor.

Louis gave him time off work not that he needed it but because he had to be with the child from his late wife he blamed the child for killing his wife and also hated the witches for deceiving him to stay than the intended time.

He was the only one that knew what Louis really was, he didn't know Elora but he wasn't a fool not to know the hurt she had cost his king.

He was putting his child to sleep when he heard Louis's message through their mind link he quickly gave his child to his servant and went to the wizard's cave.

Nicklaus hated witches and wizards after his wife died but he knew better than to blame Renwick for his wife's death he got on his horse and went to the wizard's cave.

When he got to the cave he got down from his horse and parted the horse he looked around to see if they were something he could tie the horse to so the horse wouldn't run away.

The wizard's cave was located in the wilderness there was no tree around it.

He noticed the blue orb in front of the cave and knew the wizard was already aware he was outside the cave.

"Who dares to wake the wizard of Barovia?" came the words from the blue orb.

Nicklaus rolled his eyes he was already angry to hear the wizard's voice.

" the king summons you, Renwick, "he said loudly.

" I'm not deaf, Nicklaus you should tune it down," Renwick said and appeared in front of the cave he had hair similar to Nicklaus's silver hair that lead all the way to his waist.

On the outside people admired the wizard because he was quite handsome with his coppery eyes and he looked younger like he was a teenager but people who knew him knew that he was more than twenty thousand years old.

Renwick was half fae and faes are known for their beauty and age doesn't affect them if one saw Nicklaus and Renwick they would swear they were siblings they looked too much alike but Renwick was older.

"Why does the king want to see me? Questioned Renwick.

"You should ask him, "Nicklaus said

Renwick knew what happened to Nicklaus's wife but he didn't want to speak about it because the hate was evident in Nicklaus's eyes.

"Shall we go then? "Renwick said and raised his hand to perform an incantation when he noticed Nicklaus climbing back on his horse.

" I hate old-fashioned men, just hold your horse I'm creating a portal, "Renwick said looking at Nicklaus as he climb down from the horse.

"You should have said so earlier "Nicklaus grunted.

"You didn't ask, "Renwick said as he continues his incarnations Nicklaus came to stand next to him with his horse and the portal opened, it lead to the throne room of Louis, They both enter it without saying a word to each other.
