Fun and Run

I was a breath away from his lips. All on my head on how his lips would feel on mine. God! He smelled so good.

The pull on my dress just bought me back to reality.

I looked back and saw Pedro looking up at me.

"I want to dance with you. May I dance with you?" He asked with puppy eyes.

"Of course, Pedro" I smiled at him

William looked like he has been slapped. I guess he was as into the intimacy of the near kiss as I was.

I smiled at him and held Pedro's hand.

" Come let's dance , Pedro"

While I was dancing with him, I saw Bart rushing out. Weird..

At around 7:30 the primary kids where led out from the auditorium, since there curfew had began.

That's when I noticed Bart was still no where to be found.

Still weird.

Fred came up to me , "Dance with me, Cathy?"

" Hell yeah." I smiled.

He led to me to dance floor. He always loved dancing.

"Where is Bart? I saw him rushing out." I asked.

" I don't know. He was a little tensed for the past few days. Problems with family."

Maybe he just went out for some air.

The dance ended at around 10:00 pm. I think it was a success, I mean everyone had fun , I had fun, Danced with my friends, almost kissed a gorgeous guy. That's success right?

Dee,Rose and I returned to our dorm after bidding good night to the boys.

"That was an amazing evening ladies" Dee said while jumping on the bed.

"How is it that you still have energy to jump on the bed after an entire evening of dancing?" Rose gasped with surprise and horror.

I laughed. God I love these people. Before coming here I thought this was the school for the rich and the troubled but sitting there with these girls or dancing with the group, I realized there is more to this school.

"Dance with me lady Keller" Dee pulled my hand, waking me from my thoughts.

" Why will I not, kind lady"

We laughed.

"O come on, lady Roselynn Topaz , join us" I said pulling Rose to us.

The three of us laughed and started dancing like crazy.

My sight went out the window for a moment, that's when I saw a man.

Black suit, pale red hair. Walking across the campus towards the 'off limits ' warehouse.

"Guys, who is that man?" I asked

The girls came to window and saw that man.

A moment later, Rose said " That's Augustus Blossom"

" What is he doing here? "

"Maybe to meet his devil daughters" Dee scoffed.

Maybe.

After a little while, the three of us got really tired and went to sleep.

I went to sleep with a thought that I cannot shake from my head.

Why do I find Augustus Blossom weird?

I mean that man saved Dana, who tried to burn the school down.

Then Bart faced troubles with family. Bart's parents died when he was around 12, since then Augustus Blossom has been his only family.

And now, he is walking around school this late.

Eventually I drifted of to sleep.

I woke with Dee pushing me of the bed at around 5:00 in the morning.

" What the hell, Dee?"

I opened my eyes and saw Fred!

"What the hell are you doing here?" I asked.

"It's Bart. He didn't come to the dorm last night" he said.

"What?!"

"Stefan and Damon already notified Dr. Saltzman. They want all of us there"

"Yeah, we will be there in a moment" Rose said reassuring Fred.

He nodded and left.

" What is going on guys?" I asked.

"God knows" Rose sighed.

We quickly got ready and went to Dr. Saltzman's office.

Dorian's father, Sheriff Williams, was questioning Stefan , while Damon was waiting outside.

Seeing us he quickly gave us a hug.

"Hey, where is everyone else? What is going on?" I asked

"Dorian is looking for him in the campus, Will went with him, Fred is fetching coffee. I have no freaking idea about what's going on.

I know Bart will never run away or anything" He said.

We were each interviewed.

I was the last one to be interviewed.

"So, when was the last time you saw Bartholomew?" Sheriff Williams asked me.

" Last night at the dance. I saw him rushing out"

" But camera footage shows that he never exited the building"

"What?"

" Yeah, all your friends, including my son stated that he rushed out off the auditorium, but where did he go? I searched the building but he is not anywhere in the school building.

So, where did he go , because he didn't exit the building."

My whole mind started spinning.

He didn't exit the building.

He magically vanished into thin air. How is that even possible.

" I don't know sheriff. You will find him, right?"

He sighed.

"I will try my best. Thank you for your statement, Ms.Keller"

I nodded and exited the office.

All my friends were standing outside.

All our faces mirroring the concern and fear for our friend.

He didn't exit the building.

The sheriff and my friends searched the building with a comb.

Where the hell did he go?
