The Empress is Here to See You

Crown Prince Rayzen was not sure what to say to his father. He was not yet sure about his feelings to the woman, why did his father suddenly mention his marriage with Lady Melina and the woman.

"Your Majesty, the Empress is here to see you." a servant announced.

"Oh let her in," he commanded. His heart beamed when he heard his wife wanted to see him. He was so happy today. He felt the happiest man alive instantly.

The empress entered the study and greeted them. She bowed gracefully.

"Your Majesty, my son, long time no see." The empress beamed with too much happiness when her gaze landed on her son. He was too busy with the investigations lately so they rarely see each other, even when they practically live in the same palace.

"Mother. You look rather ecstatic. What happened?"

She smirked at his son's question. She did not know whether to life or cry at his son. Did he really not know the reason?

"Son, I heard your Father guffawed. I was curious. When I heard the reason for his action, I was so excited and I hurriedly came here to see what made him laugh this way.

"Mother."

"Yes son?"

"Mother, do you think I fell in love too?"

What?!

It is the Empress' time to be shocked.

"Can you say that again?" she was bewildered. She never imagined in her son's entire life that he will be married with love not something in an arranged manner. She does not want her children to be wedded in the same way they did in the past, an arranged marriage but fortunately for her, they fell in love after their marriage. But what about their children? It was not guaranteed that the same thing will happen to them. Furthermore, as the Crown Prince grew up, her dream was more and more devastated. In addition, she does not like Lady Melina that much. She feels like she's wearing a thick mask. She thought she was too cunning and scheming. But it was the decision of the Emperor and partially the ministers.

Now that his wedding is just around the corner, the heavens did not forget them. Truly the heavens blessed those who deserve to receive blessings.

"Who is this lucky lady we are talking about then? Where is she? How come I don't see her? What's her name?"

When Crown Prince heard her mother's question continuously, he knitted his brows. I was only asking if I fell in love, do i have to introduce you to her instantly? Worse thing is, I don't even know her name. Crown Prince could not help but scratch his head in helplessness.

"Mother, the truth is.... I don't know who she is exactly. I only saw her eyes and her pretty hands. To make things worse, she was wearing a veil. I don't even know her name so, I don't have the answers to your questions yet." He said matter-of-factly.

He suddenly frowned in loneliness. He was struck with the realization that he might not meet her again in this lifetime. Never did he imagine that this meeting will mark his joyous journey to his love relationship.
