After breakfast the next day emily went to carter's studio which was located next to the old master Troy's study and she said we need to talk and carter saw her expression and knew it was something important she wants to talk about.

Yes what do you want to talk about then emily who was still standing moved to sit at the chair opposite cartar and said i know that you guys are going to give each other a chance and I just want to tell you that please she may not open upto you yhe way she is feeling she loves keeping to herself ever since her parents died so please have patience with her and I hope that you truly love her.

Carter was listening to all she was saying said can you please explain to me her parents death.

Her parents was one of the best soldiers I ever saw and they always protected their families and friends they always created time for Scarlet even when they are very busy then emily started tearing up and carter had to give her tissue which she collected and she continued they were given an impossible mission but they knew that the mission was to kill them so they sent scarlet overseas and then it wasn't only your family that is protecting scarlet there are three other families that are protecting her cause before her parents went on the mission they went to the duke family,the dash family and the amos family and ask them to protect their treasure

And when they went on the mission we didn't hear anything from them anymore it was until scarlet uncle told us that they are dead and they couldn't find their body but we didn't believe all this and my father the founder of amos Corp and the other families are still looking for Scarlet's parent but when she came back from abroad her aunt Mrs anne and her daughter sasha started bullying scarlet and since then the once cheerful girl started falling into depression until i and the gangs started cheering her up again.

Carter who was just sitting then said to emily don't worry I won't let them bullying her again I promise that I will protect her from them.

Emily stood up and was walking towards the door when she looked and carter and said she is our gem don't break her then she left and carter was left all alone thinking that why are they after scarlet

Sasha was throwing things in her when she heard that carter has a fiancee already mom how can you just let things go I was suppose to be the first lady of the troy family and some unknown girl stole my spot why mum why then anne who was looking at her daughter the way she was crying and her heart ached for her and then she said it is not an unknown girl it is the stupid orphan scarlet that is carter's fiancee and please stop crying

Anne couldn't do anything but continue petting the girl beside her and then she thought of something hey sasha does your dad know that scarlet isn't living with us anymore then sasha looked at her and said no I didn't tell why what's wrong.

Anne looked at her and said we are going to call your dad and tell him that scarlet insulted us even when we did nothing wrong and she ran away from the house.

Sasha was dumbfounded and said mum you are a genius let me call him now after she called malcom and lied to him malcom was in rage and he said that they shouldn't worry that he will handle it.

Scarlet who was at the garden with emily Clara and rachel received a call from her phone and when she saw who was calling she face suddenly gloom and emily noticed her face and asked uncle malcom and Scarlet answered yes he is the one calling me.
