While sitting behind his desk, Yu Bai's thought is filled with excitement and anticipation. He could not concentrate and was a bit muddleheaded. The joy in his heart is a bit overwhelming that he seems to be unable to contain it.

"Ma Mian will be coming home tonight… Hehe… I can't wait…" Yu Bai thought.

Suddenly, he remembers about Ma Liling and his mind suddenly became tumultuous. What if Ma Liling visited while Ma Mian is in there? That would be too awkward, right?

"No… I must intervene. Sigh… Let's just help this woman with her problem. The faster she is out of our lives the peaceful our lives would become." Yu Bai muttered.

He then picks up his phone and dialed a number.

"Hello, it's me… Can you pull out a file on an actress named Ma Liling?" he said then waited for a while.

"That's right… Tell me what you got…"

Yu Bai waited for a while and his expression slowly became confused.

Most of her background is unknown and mysterious. The reason for this is because Ma Liling wanted to protect her family and her background from the outside world.

She likes her privacy to stay private.

And no matter how hard the reporters try to get her, they still could not dig out something about her. So most in her career, the bad rumors about her are proven to be fabricated and untrue. And this is the reason why she has become more famous. The mysteriousness of the beautiful angel which seems to have come out of nowhere and has entranced the whole world has caught the attention of everyone.

Yu Bai just shrugged in helplessness. This woman is truly mysterious and like a ghost.

"How about the recent rumors about her?"

Yu Bai stayed silent for a while as he listens to the report of the other person on the line.

"So the culprit is that model named Wan Mei Mei? Alright, I want you to resolve this matter as soon as you can. Bring down that woman; threaten her family if you needed to. I want this thing wrapped within a week." Yu Bai said with a commanding voice before he hangs up the phone.

He slowly leans against the office chair while thinking.

"Ma Liling… who are you really?" he muttered.

Yu Qi's shooting was done accordingly and it seems that Tang Arjin has been silent today. She was a bit weird because she would always look at Ma Mian on the side. Even before acting, she would take a glance at Ma Mian and try her eye tricks on her. However, Ma Mian would use her skill to subvert her futile struggle and defeat her in her own game.

But it seems that Tang Arjin is doing this deliberately for some reason. And they Ma Mian would actually see the great improvement in her role as she acted in the set.

"This woman… did she discover something?" she thought.

By the end of the day, when everyone is preparing to leave, a beautiful tall woman stood in front of the busily preparing Ma Mian. When their eyes met, Ma Mian was a bit stunned. This is because Tang Arjin is actually standing in front of her.

"You are Ma Mian, right? The same sure name as her…" Tang Arjin said with a smile.

"Miss Tang, how can I help you?" Ma Mian asked with a hint of shyness.

Upon hearing this, a wide and gentle smile appears on Tang Arjin's face. It's like she just saw someone she is close to and is very intimate with.

And this sent shivers running the spine of Ma Mian.

"Do you want to… work for me?" Tang Arjin suddenly offered.

Everyone who was walking and some people who wanted to know what is about to happen were all frozen stiff in shock. Did Tang Arjin the drama queen just asked a humble makeup artist to work for her?

If this happened to them, then they would not hesitate and say yes. This is because, in the industry, Tang Arjin is not only known as the drama queen but she is also known to be cold to her enemies and very caring to those she values.

That's why her assistants, manager, makeup artists, and others working with her are very kind to her though she would sometimes act as an ice queen.

And now she is offering such a thing to this unknown woman who has arrived on the set and is working as the temporary makeup artist and manager of Yu Qi.

This is inconceivable; everyone began to mutter to each other about how lucky Ma Mian is.

Of course, Ma Mian would not accept this. Who is she? She is Ma Liling, one of the top stars in the industry. Though she is laying low right now, she still receives too many offers which her management decided to ignore for now with the excuse that she needed rest.

Tang Arjin slowly came closer to her ears and whispers.

"Is she your sister? You have quite the resemblance and those eyes. How could I forget those eyes that helped me when I was down in my career?" Tang Arjin said in a hushed tone.

"Sister?" Ma Mian thought with confusion in her eyes. "So she thought that I was Ma Liling's sister?"

"Don't be alarmed, I won't say anything… I just really respected Ma Liling too much, and I owe her a lot. Sigh… I was a bit rough on you last time. I'm sorry… I should have treated her kin with kindness as what she did to me before." Tang Arjin said.

She then takes out a calling card from her pouch and handed it to Ma Mian.

"I'm sorry… If ever you needed my help, call me. Okay? And… Give me regards to her." Tang Arjin said with a slight smile at the end of her sentence.

Ma Mian was dumbfounded at this scene. Who would have known that Tang Arjin would mistake her for Ma Liling's sister, or rather a hidden sibling by the tone of her voice?

But Ma Mian realized now why everything seems weird about that woman. Her acting was a bit off in those few days that they were shooting and today, after doing those secret intimidations towards her, it seems that she returns to the past Tang Arjin, the drama queen.

But this result is not too bad. Ma Mian could accept this, at least that woman would not be hostile anymore, and all she has to do now is to help her.
