World in chaos

 Fog is a natural phenomenon. Sometimes it is soft and ethereal, other times dense and oppressive. Fog can generate a haunting atmosphere that compels one to pause and explore the enigmas it conceals...

 The world is in chaos. An unknown fog spreads out into the world. An eerie creature, an ethereal sound, and an unknown item emerge from the fog. People immediately are in fear, panic, and disorder. 

 An eerie creature looks very scary, it's indescribable. It has a twisted body, sharp fangs, and hundreds of eyes on its head and body. Some walk on two feet, and some crawl. They spit out foul-smelling gas and attack those nearby.

 An ethereal sound very beautiful, it's incredible. This rhythm, melody, and tone are flawless. But everyone who heard those sounds was stunned and immediately started attacking others. Under beautiful music is a bloody fight.

 An unknown item was a sphere, it's tiny. This tiny sphere is entirely blue, with flowing binary code on it, on the top is a countdown of five seconds. "beep", "beep", "beep", "beep", "beep", when its countdown to zero, it cast a huge explosion.

 The news is playing on a huge TV. The news reporter was a golden brown hair beauty, but her eyes filled with fear, concern, and worry. The bad news from her mouth came out in a desperate tone.

 "The eerie creature is killing everyone nearby! If you see it anywhere you should have to hide or run away as fast as possible! The military troops have been sent there!"

 The news screen on the TV switches to another place. The camera is on the ground and shows a lot of blood on the walls of many buildings. The ethereal sound came out, it seemed this was where the bloody fight started.

 "Ahhh...!" A scream sounded and was gone but with the sound of a thing falling to the ground. That might be the person who screamed and died, however, the camera is on the ground so nobody sees what happened.

 The news screen on the TV switches to another place again. On the street, many people circle a tiny blue ball. Everybody was confused about what this was, and they heard the "beep", then when they saw carefully, they saw the countdown of five.

 "beep", "beep"

 "Wait...run!!" Somebody finally realized what was that but it was too late. It exploded, and the camera immediately cut off.

 After a few seconds, a picture appeared, it was that place but everything was gone only the land, the diameter of the range of the explosion was one kilometer.

 In a mall. There are no people but two young men. Why is nobody at the mall, because everybody has gone to the shelter already.

 The power of the mall was completely cut off. There is no light inside but now it's afternoon not nighttime so it's not too dark here, there is still a dim light coming in from the glass door entrance and exit.

 "What the hell happened in this goddamn world!" A man shouted. It was a young man, with a charming appearance, light brown skin, and brown hair.

 He is Jonas but now he is mad because they are in the same place where the eerie creature came out.

 "Jonas! You better not shout! If that monster heard us we are going to hell!" Falkmar said in a low voice and he was covering the mouth of Mark.

 Falkmar compared Jonas looks a little darker skin but not obviously, with black hair and his appearance is sunny.

 "Hmph! I will go to heaven not hell!" Jonas snorted and said in a low voice too.

 "....." Falkmar was speechless, and couldn't help but roll his eyes.

 Right now, they are getting the resources from the mall. They get a large plastic bag from the supermarket inside the mall and then plunder many things, such as snacks, meat, and vegetables.

 Although the shelter is full of resources they still get the resource from the mall. Because they are not going to the shelter from the government but from Jonas' shelter.

 "You know what? I think you're crazy after I heard you were going to build an underground shelter, but now it seems your decision is correct," Falkmar said calmly, as he kept reaching for snacks on the shelves.

 "Ha... I'm just about to crack a joke but when my dad heard it, he started to plan and build it..." Jonas sighed and said the corner of his lips curved into a smirk as if for flaunting his wealth to Falkmar.

 Falkmar rolls his eyes as he hears what Jonas said. Is this the world of rich people? Falkmar asked in his mind.

 "By the way... You saw that news right? What do you think? Why there are so many unknown things going out from fog?" Janos asked.

 "I don't know, but I guess maybe the fog connects with the other world?" Falkmar thought deeply then replied. He has read many novels that make him think of this.

 Jonas didn't say anything more but looked at Falkmar for a moment. Falkmar's thought is unreality but looks like this is the only answer.

 "Maybe..." Jonas said with a deep voice.

 Suddenly they heard a sharp big noise from far away. Falkmar and Jonas have no idea what sound is but what they are sure is this sharp big noise hurting their ears. Their face twisted into a painful expression and used their hand to cover their ears.

 "Ah! What the hell is that!" Jonas cries out in pain, and because of the sudden noise, he falls onto the tiles of the supermarket.

 "I don't know! Who the hell plays this goddamn high-pitched noise! Ah!" Falkmar also falls onto the tiles, and the snacks, meat, and vegetables from the plastic bag fall heavily.

 The high-pitched noise plays a while and is gone. Flakmar and Jonas rose slowly, their head was a little hurt caused by the noise.

 "Finally... Who plays that noise? That might attract the monster." Falkmar said in a confused tone and he got the plastic bag that fell on the floor.

 "Fuck this shit! Agh!" Jonas scolded loudly. He also picks up his plastic bag that falls on the floor.

 "Alright... Stop scolding, maybe we should go back to the shelter now..." Falkmar said with worry on his expression and also his tone.

 "Fine... Let's go back!" Jonas said gripped the plastic bag tightly and walked out of the mall with Ryan.

 When they left the mall, the sky was overcast with dark clouds, and a pile of rubbish scattered outside the street. The road is deserted, and some of the buildings have a lot of blood. This is where the fog brings the monster here.

 Walking on an empty street, there is only blood on the ground, many broken cars, and two young men walking.

 The buildings in the city look like they have been through war. The city has been ruined. Dust flies in the air and those bricks and tiles are scattered on the road. The city was covered by silence.

 Such a scene with a cloudy sky makes people feel depressed. Falkmar and Jonas, gulping hard were stunned for a moment by this even though they had seen this earlier already.

 Their pace was slow. Their expressions were sad. Their breath was heavy. They seem worried about something and mourn the dead in this city, the atmosphere here heavy like a mountain pressed onto their body.

 They turned one street corner after another. The sound in this silent city was only their footsteps.

 "Did everybody die...?" Falkmar asked weakly, his voice was trembling.

 "Probably, since there is no one but us." Jonas replied, his voice almost as low as a whisper.

 Falkmar and Jonas were very lucky. They realized something was wrong when they saw the fog news and saw a huge fog was coming. When the fog came, they heard the screaming and shouting.

 Because they are neighbor, Jonas quickly tells me and my parents to get into his underground shelter. The shelter had a luxurious and massive design but did not have too many resources. After all, it's just built.

 They hide in the shelter and listen to the screaming from the people outside. All of them take a hard gulp as they hear their desperate scream.

 When the screaming stops, Falkmar and Jonas open the floor door. Then everything was ruined, everybody disappeared but many blood on the ground.
