Reunited

Fan MeiLi's Apartment

(Wednesday Evening)

Sitting in the living room, the two ladies stayed in silence. Fan MeiLi tried to envoke a conversation with Kang Sena, but the latter was too lost in her thoughts. Getting up to make some tea, Fan MeiLi thought about how tricky fate would be when it came to her. Never in her wildest dreams did she once believe that offering to give information to Adam Yu, would have Kang Sena thrown in front of her.

While the two ladies were lost in their thoughts, hearing the rapid doorbell rings and knocking had brought them out of their trances. Putting down the teapot, Fan MeiLi open the door only for Adam Yu to rush in looking frantically around the room. When his eyes met Kang Sena's he froze for a moment before engulfing her in a tight hug.

"It's you. You're really here." He said in a muffled voice by her hair. "Adam." Kang Sena said with tears running down her face. Pulling her back, "Are you okay? Fan MeiLi said some guys were chasing you." He asked with worry etched on his voice and in his words.

Shaking her head and hugging him tighter, "I'm fine now that I found you." She said.

Fan MeiLi brought some tea over and motion for them to sit down. "Now that you both are reunited, we still have a big problem." She said sitting down.

"I know what you're talking about, the rat in the Yu family." Adam Yu said through clenched teeth. "That's right. Sooner or later they'll learn of Miss Kang's disappearance and they'll up their guard and eyes around you. The only thing I'm truly worried about is that this time they'll permanently get rid of Miss Kang." Fan MeiLi said calmly.

Adam Yu fisted his hand and narrowed his eyes, those horrible thoughts popped in his head when he learned that Sena was found. Even with Fan MeiLi's help, he was nowhere close to finding the culprit. Kang Sena looked between the two, "We'll figure it out together, nothing is making me leave your side again." She said holding Adam's hand. It made him feel warm inside and he was so happy to have her back.

Giving Fan MeiLi a serious look, "Miss Fan, you already helped me plenty, more than what I did for you." Standing and bringing Kang Sena up as well, " I can't let you involve yourself more and risk more trouble coming your way." He stated and started for the door.

"Stop." Fan MeiLi said not too loud but not too quiet either. The two stopped and face the lady who was leaning on her sofa. "You're right that I don't wish for trouble, but I always listen to my feelings. I don't know why but fate really wishes for me to help Miss Kang Sena and that is exactly what I'll do." She said standing up to grab her Rose laptop.

Turning to the couple, "Now, shall we play a game with those hiding in the dark. I always loved playing the game of cat and mice, I wonder who'll win this time." She said with a wicked smile. It made the couple shivered in fear from how calm her smile was that never reached her eyes.

Fan MeiLi didn't really mind helping the couple, mostly because she knew trouble was already heading her way. She had no doubt that those in the Yu family who wished to keep the two apart would find information on her through her car tags. Well, Fan MeiLi has never been a lady to calmly wait around for trouble to get her. She was more of a hit them first before they hit you kind of gal. The Yu family might be very powerful but they never met the infamous hacker Rose and her powerful skills.
