CH 4 THE SUPRISE

RAY'S POV

I went up the door and knocked after five minutes my dad came up opening the door. At first, my dad was shocked like he had seen a ghost. But that turned into a huge hug for both of us. I had got the best welcome hug I got. I looked over to Hope seeing that while she was smiling tears came rolling out of her eyes dad had the same reaction they had what people say tears of joy. We went into the house and asked dad why he didn't call after getting released and when he told us that he had called but mom said that we did not want yo be with him anymore, this made my blood boil she now had lost her right to call me her son. But I told dad the truth that we had decided to escape without anyone knowing.

He was happy that we came sooner He told us to go to bed because like anyone we had a 2-hour journey where I just closed my eyes for just 15 minutes as I went to bed

ME: Thanks dad

DAD; Why ??

ME: I thought you wouldn't want us here

DAD: Ray, son each day in prison I would pull through thinking about you and hope that is what I thought each day. I would never lose you again I won't leave you

ME: I know that dad, love you

DAD: love you too son

I slowly went to sleep remembering the happiest reunion I had.
