In the CEO's office, John supported himself with both hands on the desk, his veins bulging on the back of his hands as he took several moments to calm down.

He pressed the intercom button and Brian quickly walked in, picking up the phone on the floor and handing it back to him.

"I remember we had a cooperation plan with the Chen family. Call Brandon Chen and arrange a meeting with him," John ordered.

Brian's eyelids twitched, sensing that this meeting might not be so simple, but he had no choice but to comply with the boss's instructions.

On Brandon Chen's side, he leisurely told Jane about the cooperation meeting with John after taking many selfies with her. Jane was surprised.

"Do you want to come with me?" Brandon asked.

Just as Jane was about to refuse, her phone rang. Seeing the familiar number, her expression changed slightly as she walked to the side to answer the call.

"Jane Garcia," John almost squeezed the words out of his teeth.

Jane was puzzled. Why was John suddenly angry with her?

"What's up?" she asked coldly.

John sneered, "The Four Seasons Business Hotel in the CBD. I want to see you in fifteen minutes."

Jane was unhappy. "I have something to do right now..."

Before she could finish her refusal, John coldly interrupted her, "You are my slave now. Do you have the right to say no?"

Feeling a sting in her heart, she replied coldly, "I understand."

After hanging up the phone quickly, she bid farewell to Brandon Chen, who had noticed that she had something going on, and he personally escorted her out.

The CBD was large and bustling, and it took a while to get to the Four Seasons Hotel due to traffic, but luckily they arrived within the specified time.

As she stepped into the lobby, her phone rang again. This time it was Brian asking if she had arrived yet. She replied that she had, and he asked her to take a photo of the lobby and herself to send to John.

She was annoyed, but she reluctantly took a photo of herself and the lobby and sent it to John as requested.

To her surprise, Brandon Chen showed up not long after.

She belatedly realized, "Did John invite you to meet here?"

Brandon Chen nodded, and then asked tentatively, "Did he call you just now?"

Jane nodded.

Brandon Chen frowned imperceptibly, "Aren't you divorced from him?"

John had hurt her so much online that she thought she would stay away from him, but she never thought that they would both end up divorced and still tangled up with each other.

Jane sighed inwardly.

She didn't want this either.

"Mr. Chen, this is our cooperation plan. Mr. John says there are many problems that need to be discussed." Brian took out the file and looked around at the two leaders. The atmosphere was tense, and there were hidden currents beneath the surface.
