Elizabeth's words immediately embarrassed Aunt Xia.
Jane looked coldly at Elizabeth. Had she forgotten that Aunt Xia was their savior?
When Elizabeth was young, she worked hard on film sets and developed a medical condition that prevented her from having children with Franklin Garcia for many years. When she finally became pregnant, she didn't know it and went to a remote mountain village for vacation. Jane took out her phone and pretended to call the police.
Alice Garcia looked at Elizabeth with fear in her eyes, pleading for mercy. Elizabeth gritted her teeth and slapped her hard across the face. The sound echoed throughout the room as Elizabeth angrily shouted, "You've made a mistake, apologize to Jane right now."
Alice Garcia was stunned by the slap and only reacted when Elizabeth spoke. Mechanically, she moved towards Jane and began apologizing in an exaggerated manner, slapping herself in the face as if it didn't hurt. Tears streamed down her face as she begged for forgiveness, admitting that it was all her fault.
Jane couldn't help but sneer as she listened. When she saw the witness brought by Aunt Xia, who was terrified by Alice Garcia's behavior, she motioned to Aunt Xia and they both left with the girl.
"Do you know how painful it is for me to have my voice damaged, cousin?" Jane said coldly, pursing her lips.
Alice Garcia lowered her head, her eyes filled with intense hatred. But her words were sincere when she spoke, "I know, I know how you feel. It's all my fault for not protecting you."
Jane sneered, "It's like you think I'm falsely accusing you. If that's the case, let's just report this to the police. I believe they will be able to uncover the truth through their investigation."
