Jane looked at Vivian West and John with a cold expression that revealed her true feelings. "Jill needs to rest, please leave," she said coldly.

Vivian West noticed her voice was hoarse and low, like it had rusted, and looked at her with concern. "Jane, your voice..."

Jane felt irritated. She inexplicably didn't want to reveal her pain in front of her ex-husband and his girlfriend. Vivian West's flustered appearance made her even more repulsed.

"It's none of your business how I am," she said in a cold tone, as if she didn't want to talk to Vivian West anymore. She signaled to the couple who had come to have dinner with them tonight to leave quickly.

Vivian West was hurt by her cold gaze. A look of disappointment and grievances appeared on her beautiful, fair face. "John, please..."

John glanced at Vivian West. "You leave first."

"You both leave," Jane said impatiently. Seeing these two people made her feel uneasy.

"Jane, don't be shameless," Mark Cooper's voice suddenly sounded at the door of the hospital room. He had already left, but he received a call from Vivian West saying that John had left her at the restaurant entrance due to a last-minute emergency, so he immediately went to pick her up. Later, he learned from the estate that Jane had taken Jill away.

Jane raised her eyebrows heavily. She had known for years that Mark Cooper was very protective of Vivian West. He was still the same after ten years.

"Cooper, tell me, how am I shameless?" She had confirmed that these people didn't come to visit Jill at the hospital. They came to quarrel with her.

Hearing her harsh and piercing voice, Mark Cooper wrinkled his brow in disgust. "Vivian West is just concerned about you, but you act like a hedgehog, thinking you're so special?"

Jane almost laughed out loud from being so angry with Mark Cooper's logic. Just because Vivian West was concerned about her, did she have to be grateful?

As soon as they met, Vivian West hinted that John was with her that night!

And because they had dinner together, they missed Jill's call!

She had to suspect that Vivian West deliberately said those things to warn her that Vivian West's position in John's heart was higher than Jill's!

She silently declared war, was it necessary to be polite to her?

"John, your daughter needs rest. Please take responsibility as a father and kick these people out!" Jane said coldly.

John's sharp eyes stared at Mark Cooper coldly. "We're leaving."

He took the lead, and Mark Cooper and Vivian West had no choice but to follow him out of the hospital room.

"It's my fault for making Jane angry," Vivian West took the blame as soon as they left the room. Jane, who was about to close the door, couldn't believe that Vivian West had so many issues.

After they left the room, Mark Cooper's face also turned cold, and he said discontentedly, "Jane should be the one leaving the room, John."

After their divorce, Jill was raised by John, so Jane should not have come to bother them.

John's expression was full of coldness. "She is Jill's biological mother." This one sentence left Mark Cooper speechless. He believed that John was wrong to leave Vivian West behind for Jill and that it hurt Vivian West's feelings.

"Lucas, why did you lie to me?" John asked in a cold voice while Mark Cooper was still in a daze.

Mark Cooper's gaze flickered, instantly realizing what John was referring to. He coldly laughed, "Did she tell you that?"

John remained composed, with his thin lips lightly pursed. He didn't expect Mark Cooper to deceive him.
