THE HOBOST SOCIETY PART 2

I know most might think my parents are strict, but the truth is that they are not. They are only worried about their daughter safety. After the incident about the murder of Nicholas, it is clear the town is not safe as we thought. Later on, by 10:00pm, which implied it was time to tune the channel to news station, It was a house tradition. The headline came on, we were shocked to see the big story, 'which confirmed that mr Melvin sanders was contesting for the post of mayor.' After viewing the news, i began to ponder why the town would allow this mistake to go on. We cannot allow a mobster rule us, it would absolutely take away the town's pride. I decided within myself to carry out a protest against Mr. Melvin proclamation, which my father strongly supported despite my mother disapproval. My dad tried to make mom understand that she should not stop me for standing up for the truth. He explained to my mother that i was one of the leaders of tomorrow, as such i should understand solidarity is forever which i never doubted.

He even explain further to mom that if the entire town had the fire i had within right now, the town would not be suffering at the moment. Elsewhere, we had Madison who was feeling pissed just like me, after witnessing what she called calamitous

engagement. Madison proposed an idea, we made a video, in that video we listed reason why mr sanders could not be allowed to be the town's mayor and we posted it on the internet. We hoped that the internet would be buzzing after the protest both Madison and i carried out. I am sure after this, mr sanders would have no other choice than to drop out from the race which would be a blessing to the town. However, we had to wait till tomorrow before we could find out if our protest change the situation that surrounds us. Thereafter, i went to bed. I was feeling dizzy after a long stressful day, it was a lot to handle, but still we were not done. I could only wish all of this evil

plot come to an abrupt end instantly.

Tuesday 15th September, I was woken up by my alarm, I prepared for school, after which I headed downstairs to have my breakfast. It was right there I was informed by my father the incident that took place late last night in the town.

By 11:00pm last night, a group of Armed bandit robbed the entire neighbourhood except our home and that of Madison's.

This news honestly looked strange, i said to myself, "why would the robbers spare my home? It was my constant thought while i was walking to school. Surprisingly, Madison gave me the answer like she knew what i was thinking about.

"the only reason why the robbers spared our home, was to make us look guilty and suspicious". She muttered.

I was furious, which made me so curious to find out who would want to frame my family and i. Honestly speaking, after much consideration i could only come up with one name, Mr Melvin sanders. Perhaps, Madison and i have shaken him to his core, so he decided to do the same. Only this time, instead of attacking us, he intends to discredit us which would definitely bolster his campaign. I would not stand for this, i would go all out against him just like he has done against my family.

Few hours later, it's 11:45am, the start of break. Madison, melody and i shared a table in other for us to discuss further on our intention. It was strange for a lot of people, as they stared at us. I guess they were bewildered. However, i was not all that bothered because i was more concerned about kelvin, who intent is to find out what exactly was going on between Madison, melody and i that made us close. When I woke up this morning, I found a message on my phone, it was sent by kelvin. He was clearly trying to get close to me, so he could find out what is going on between me and his friends. I told Madison and melody about the message earlier on. At that moment, i knew kelvin would eventually find out the truth. So, i advised Madison and melody it was best if we told kelvin exactly what was going on with us, In as much we are sure we could convince him to keep it as a secret when we tell him. Surprisingly, they both agreed with me. Melody immediately called kelvin, she told him to visit frisbee shop by 5:00pm later on today.

While we were enjoying our lunch, the cafeteria door opened, "look who just walk in." Madison said.

it was Elizabeth, she looked offended about the protest Madison and i hosted to discredit her father claim for power.

"You girls think you are funny uhh!" She exclaimed. "guess what, you three are bunch of fools if you think your unreasonable protest would triumph."

Madison laughed, "Poor sad Elizabeth is offended that we spoke the truth. I have never been so disgusted in my life, until the moment your father announced he wanted to contest for mayor." Madison uttered.

"Ugh!" Elizabeth exclaimed. "I can imagine how sad your life's are, you ridiculous set of fools who have nothing useful to do with your life."

"You see Elizabeth my advice for you is to leave this place." Melody said.

Elizabeth was pissed, "Shut up melody, i cannot believe how ungrateful you are, after all my father did for you. it sad you chose to stand with vagabonds." She said.

I was annoyed, "Sincerely, i have nothing to say to you, but i will tell you this. It is best you keep your eye wide open, cause a lot of things are happening. But sadly, you cannot see for you are clearly blinded by your love for vanity product." I confronted Elizabeth.

"At Least i am clearly wise than you". Elizabeth replied.

Eventually, i was able to convince both Madison and melody to ignore Elizabeth stupidity which i found disheartening. I knew I could not judge her, she was her father's daughter and surely she would never doubt him. Putting myself in her shoes, I will have probably done the same thing. The only thing we could do now is hope it's not too late when she realize. Afterwards, the siren sounded as the break period came to an end. Then, we all returned to our various classes for the second half of school hours.

Few hours later, it 2:55pm, we had one more subject to go before we close from school, it was physics which i valued so much. Although, many addressed it to be the most gruesome of all the subject ever learnt, but i strongly disagree. Moreover, i had a cause to believe they all said that due to the fact that they were lazy, and not willing to learn. Funny enough, That was always the comment the subject teacher gave to them everytime they complained about its difficultly. This comment definitely worked wonders with the student, during the lectures, the student revealed to the teacher the laziness that dwelt in them. This got the entire class detention and me infuriated. This is because i could not follow melody and Madison to meet up with kelvin.

Some hours later, i received a text message on my cell, it was from melody. The text message i received from melody, confirms that kelvin arrived at frisbee shop at exactly 5:00pm, and they were able to tell him about the mission, and also manage to convince him to keep the mission a secret despite all the complications they had to face. This news got me so excited, until the moment a classmate of mine came to ask me to help find out the identity of her stalker. I was unsure of what was going on, until that classmate of mine revealed that Elizabeth told her that Madison, melody and i are teenage private detective. This was after she told Elizabeth about her stalker. Our cover was already blown, this really terrified me, i began to imagine what will happen to us when our parent find out. I knew my parents would be a little bit worried, but will not react. That will be hypocritical. However, Madison's parents would surely be vexed. They are not pleased with their daughter inquisitiveness, on several occasions, they have warned her to stay away from such activities.

If this news went across the entire town, and people began to seek assistance from Madison, melody and myself to sniff out the truth, things would definitely not end well. Despite my effort to convince her, she refused to accept. So, i decided the best thing to do was to play along before the entire class find out was was going on. My first case was to find out who Miranda stalker is. It was necessary for me to solve the case and close that chapter. After a while of deep thinking, I came up with a plan to help Miranda. You see, Miranda complained she always found a letter from the stalker in her locker each day that passes by. So I had her write a letter to the stalker, appreciating his efforts and his treatment. After she was done writing the letter, I place it into an envelope which has a flower has it logo. In this flower, was a hidden spy camera which no one could see. I bought that envelope when i visited Asatoph few months ago. My theory is that her stalker, would return to see if Miranda saw is gift. When he finds the letter, he will take it with him immediately. And when that happens, all i had to do was to connect my personal computer to the camera, wait and record all the information the camera as acquired, which would be enough to expose the stalker.
