After finishing their meal, Hua Yan looked out of the window. Although the sun was already leaning westward, it was still quite early. She asked Yun Chi, "Do you still have any matters to attend to?"
"There are some scrolls and memorials to review," Yun Chi said. "But it wouldn't hurt to look at them tomorrow."
"The more you put them off, the more they'll pile up. In the end, it's your responsibility." Hua Yan shook her head with a smile and, reversing her hand, pulled him to his feet. "Come, I'll accompany you to the study. After all, I don't wish to go to bed and sleep just yet. If I sleep now, I'll have trouble sleeping later tonight."
"Alright," Yun Chi said with a smile, letting Hua Yan pull him up.
Caiqing and Little Zhongzi brought over cloaks and handed them to the two of them.
Yun Chi helped Hua Yan put on the cloak, then donned his own. They held hands and walked out of the room.
