Xia Yuan saw that Hua Yan had played two pieces without any trouble and put her mind at ease. Now seeing her playfully start a southern and northern folk tune, she couldn't help but smile with pursed lips. These folk tunes, which she had heard too many times during the years she'd accompanied Hua Yan, were remembered by heart, as clever as she was, even though she couldn't play them before.
She glanced out the window and saw Yun Chi and Hua Zhuo standing outside. Although it was drizzling and the raindrops were light and thin, if it went on for too long, the two of them would be soaked through. She turned and walked to the door, opened it, and said softly, "Crown Prince, Hua Zhuo, would you like to come in?"
Yun Chi nodded and stepped into the study.
Hua Zhuo, however, stood still and said to Xia Yuan, "Get an umbrella, I'm tired. Accompany me back to the courtyard to rest."
