Lorena hid her face away and answered

"No thanks"

"Too bad that I don't take no for an answer"

the man came out of his Mercedes-Benz and went to her, he knelt down,he heard her sniffing, he looked at her and told her

"You seem not okay"

" am okay so leave me alone"

"You're in tears and you're telling me you're Ok, well you ain't a good liar at all"

"Leave me alone man!!!!!"

" Well it's okay if you don't wanna talk about it I mean am not a man who'd force young teenagers like yourself to talk about their problems..."

Lorena looked at him, the man smiled at her, Lorena looked at him closely as he smiled at her.....

"He was handsome, young and good looking as well, and the way he looked, he seemed to be a rich man with that black suit of his,

But there's something, something that lorena can't seem to quite understand yet everytime when she looked into his deep cold silver eyes....

Who was he? "

the man's smile widen and told her.

" From the way you're looking at me, you probably wanna know who I am... well come on, I'll tell you on the way to whatever you're going"

" I said am okay, that mean I don't need a ride"

" And I said I don't take no for an answer..."

the man sigh and told her kindly

"please, let me help you out, hmmmmmm? "

Lorena looked at him and told him

" Fine"

the man chuckled and said

" Okay let's go then... "

the two of them entered the Mercedes and left.

in the car, the man drove, Lorena was quiet, the cold a.c was too cold for her, especially with the cloudy weather outside, then, she held herself tightly and tried to keep the cold out, then she let out a breath.

the man looked at her, by seeing her how. much she rapped herself with her arms. he smiled and told her

"You know you could've just told me. to switch off the a.c if it's too cold for you"

the man switched off the a.c. Lorena didn't say anything to him since they entered the car, the man looked at her and told her

" What's your name? "

" Not gonna give my name to a total stranger"

" Yeah that's true, so true.... but mine is Rider, Rider Alexander. I guess you were told by your parents not to talk to strangers but I wasn't"

"what do you mean, every parents warn their children not to talk to strangers"

" Well mine weren't there, gone a long time ago..... they didn't have the chance to tell me all that"

Lorena got surprised upon hearing that, she looked at him and told him

" Am sorry I didn't know"

" Nah it's fine, am over it a long time ago"

" Am Lorena, Lorena walker"

"oh!! so I guess am not a stranger anymore after I gave you the little recap of my life?

you know people could take advantage of you then and there without thinking twice..... but anyway, since you already told me I see no harm in that"

the man looked at Lorena and smiled.

" So how old are you?"

"21"

Rider looked at her and chuckled

"Well you don't look 21 at all, you look like 18 or 19..... 6 years younger than me"

"So you're 25?"

" Bingo, you're 19... you're seriously a bad liar"

he said that as he almost laughed and then smiled, Lorena looked at him, she shook her head and asked

" Hey wait a minute, you don't even know where I am going as you didn't ask me so where are you taking me? "

" You look sad, mad, broken and hungry, so am gonna get you some meal to cheer you up"

" That's unnecessary "

" Necessary to me... Don't try to refuse me. because as I said earlier... I don't take no for an answer "

Rider drove the Mercedes.

Lorena was looking out of the window as Rider drove the Mercedes. then, she turned and looked at him again.

now he was serious, he wasn't as charming as the one he talked to like 3 minutes ago, now he looked serious, very serious, his gaze represented the man he is, his silver eyes hardened and look forward, his suit went well with his gaze now, in her eyes, though she didn't wanna believe it, he was handsome, and breathtaking, he was rich, she knew that, I mean who the hell drives an electric Mercedes-Benz and isn't rich??

so ofcourse he was rich, and from Lorena imaginations, she thought that maybe he was a business man, a man who owns hotels and sign large deals with other wealthy companies, he changed, Lorena knew that, he changed from the charming Rider, to the furious Alexander...

Without Lorena realizing it, she was sitting next to the Mafia king, the king of New York city, the man whom her father is searching for since the murder happened, Alexander himself.

that morning...

8:26am...

Alex entered in the office, as soon as the police officers saw him, they started worrying and fear caught them, they k ew that this knew sheriff won't hear a word of defending the murderer of this case and delete the case,they knew he was stubborn, his fighting the biggest mafia in New York and his constables his it from him,and so,no one had the courage to confront him.

Alex went to his office and sat on the chair. officer lee entered Alex's office, as soon as he entered, Alex asked him

"Alex!! you're in here, so tell me, has anyone from Jeff's family picked up?"

"No sir, non, we tried calling his parents but they are not here, they live on the county side."

"And his wife? "

" Hasn't come back yet sir"

Alex remained quiet as he was surprised that no one was willing to come forward and talk their statements regarding the case. he let out a breath, he smiled and told him

"Thank you officer, you may leave"

officer lee just stood there and looked at the sheriff, he remembered about yesterday when Alexander came, he wanted to tell him everything so badly but, he knew Kevin was right, the one who murdered Jeff is Alexander, he always gets away with it, even if the whole city knows who has done it....

but still, he wanted to try and tell the sheriff everything, but when the sheriff raised his head and asked him

"Anything else officer"

officer lee smiled at him and replied.

"No sir, nothing else"

"Then you may leave"

"Yes sir"

officer lee turned and left the office as he finally decided, to better leave everything to the great one, because if humans can't punish a criminal like Alexander, then only God can, because even the devil bows to the great Rider Alexander
