Scarred Luna

"Now, listen to me" he commanded and I instantly looked up at him. "Rule number one, no screaming. No matter what I do to you, I must not hear a single noise. If I do, it would most definitely get worse" he said and my heart hammered in my chest. As carefully as I could, I put the mirror back from where I'd pulled it out from, before wrapping my apron around my waist. Once I was done with that, I snuck one last glance at my room before heading out and locking the door behind me.

My room. I had my own space now.

A small smile made its way to my face as I walked down the stairs. The closer I got, the louder the noises from the diner reached my ears. It was almost opening time, and everyone was on the verge of going mad trying to make sure everything was ready before the stipulated time.

Everyone except me, that is.
