Chapter Two Hundred Thirty

Blaze closed the door tightly and locked it. She then walked towards the living room, where Theo looked back at her with so much concern. She approached him and smiled calmly.

"Theo, go up to your room and get changed. Mommy will prepare lunch."

The boy didn't immediately obey her words. He just stood with his head down. She took a deep breath and knelt in front of him. Her hand reached out to touch his cheek and slightly lifted her son's face.

She is still smiling. "Hey, why don't you go to your room?"

"Mommy..."

"Yes, dear?"

"Is that woman my grandmother?"

Blaze was silent for a moment. Oh, it feels like she really wants to lie to Theo. But then she nodded. She couldn't lie to him. "That's right. The woman was your grandmother; she's your daddy's mother. Why?"

"The grandmother said that you are not my mommy. My parent is only Daddy. One day, he will find a mother for me. Is it true?" Theo asked in his small voice.
