Chapter Sixty Seven

Zack hissed in annoyance when he found Kevin in the park with Shine. He wanted so badly to go over to his cousin and pull him inside, but his intentions were cut short when the girl started to speak. He chose to hide among the trees and listen to their conversation, even though it was very rude.

"So, no Manila girls have caught your eye yet?" asked Shine.

Kevin glanced at the girl and shook his head. "I haven't moved in a long time, so I haven't met a lot of people. I only knew a few people at school and in the dorm. So, I have no interest in any girl."

The girl frowned. "Not interested or not interested yet?"

"Not interested," Kevin said seriously.

Shine was silent for a moment. Then the girl smiled. "You seem to have changed quite a bit after moving to Canada."

Kevin stared fixedly at Shine.

"Why did you come to see me, Shine? You still live in Beijing, right? So, how's it going with your boyfriend?" Kevin said.
