Chapter Eighty Six

Kevin and Sara returned to the hospital after dinner. Zack chose to stay home, as this matter was not his place to interfere. Jacel just finished surgery. John called him while they were having dinner and said it. He also said that the doctor couldn't confirm the girl's condition yet, so they had to wait.

When Kevin and Sara arrived at the intensive care unit, John was standing in a hospital room with a large window—that's where Jacel lay unconscious. Sara was about to cry again when she saw the girl's condition, but John, who hugged her, made Sara hold back her tears.

"Don't cry. She won't like it," The man muttered.

Kevin also thought so.

"And I wouldn't like it if you just called me tomorrow morning about my grandson's condition."

Kevin suddenly turned his head and saw an old man with a stern expression. Seeing John's reaction and the old man's words earlier, he assumed that he was Jacel's grandfather from her late mother's side.

"Father…"
