CHAPTER 6: REVELATION

After the tense incident with K, the oblivious woman directed her fury and rage towards Scarlet.

"It's you," she exclaimed, staring at Scarlet with intense anger.

Accusing her, she shouted, "You motherf****** b****. What did you tell K, f****** b****? Why did K say that?"

Trying to make sense of the situation, she smashed the table with both hands while standing up and continued yelling, "You seduced him."

As she approached Scarlet's table in frustration, the news on the TV played last night's events, but everyone's attention was focused on the unfolding drama.

Scarlet, unfazed, remained seated, staring at the woman with a calm expression.

The woman, attempting to insult Scarlet, said, "Just because you're good-looking does—wait... Ain't you the b**** who lives in that pig house? You got new looks, and now you're seducing other men like you always do."

The tension in the cafe escalated with each passing moment.

Recalling the woman's face, Scarlet struggled to place her until the pieces clicked into place.

"Oh, now I recognize you. You're the woman who was unsatisfied with K," Scarlet said, making a bold statement that left onlookers shocked, thinking, [This woman did it again].

The woman, furious at Scarlet's words, grabbed her by the collar, shaking with embarrassment.

Scarlet, pondering the strange reactions she provoked, thought, [Why does everybody tremble upon looking me in the eye?]

Unfazed, she continued, "You called Mike after K left, right? Because, according to you, sex is better with the person you first did it with. And, well, K doesn't know how to..."

Before Scarlet could finish, the cafe was filled with shock.

Mike appeared surprised, while Zack felt a surge of jealousy and inferiority complex. The unfolding drama captured the attention of everyone present.

The woman, seething with anger, complained, "What do you know about love and sex? You just f*** around with anyone you want. Every day, guys come in and out of your apartment like a bank."

Onlookers were shocked.

They thought,

[Is she one of them those who has more male friends than friends]

[Don't tell me she sells herself]

[Imagine the neighbors, and the landlord must be nice if she still lives there]

and someone even started recording a video when the three guys entered.

Unfazed by the accusation, Scarlet responded with a straight face, "So what?" leaving the onlookers surprised.

Still holding Scarlet by the collar, the woman looked into her eyes but found nothing.

Suddenly, the woman declared, "I'm sorry. I didn't mean what I said."

Reading the woman's thoughts, Scarlet sensed genuine remorse and calmly stated, "But you ain't wrong. That's the truth."

Onlookers wore puzzled expressions, wondering,

[What just happened?]

The woman released Scarlet and turned away.

As she turned, she noticed K standing at the door, shocked by the unfolding drama. K questioned, "Is it true?"

The woman admitted, "Yeah. Some people come out of her apartment."

However, K clarified, "Not that. About how you called Mike after I left and how you slept with him before me."

Apologetically, the woman confessed, "I'm sorry, K. I fell in love with Mike first, and you confessed the same day I slept with him. I couldn't make you sad."

She nervously continued, "Even after I found out Mike slept with your mother, I still love him." Onlookers, shocked by the revelation, couldn't help but think,

[I should've brought popcorn]

[Damn, those midnight shows, don't hold a candle to this.]

[I thought I run a cafè and not a theater]
