-12 Grimmauld Place-

Renovation day arrived, and after a lot of planning and thinking about what to change in the house, Sirius decided that a cozy and cheerful looking place would be good.

And luckily Andromeda who heard about the renovation helped us with some ideas, and managed to get it out of Sirius' head that leaving the whole place in red and gold wouldn't be good.

Of course, some threats were necessary, but most of the problem was resolved with a friendly conversation.

Many people were involved in this renovation, from Ted and Andromeda, to Headmaster Dumbledore, who spoke to Sirius about adding some additional protections, both as a friendly gesture and to protect Harry.

The Headmaster was taking care of the wards and protections. Sirius, Ted and I were the manpower, and Remus was the person organizing everything.

And Andromeda was the one who was watching over us to make sure we didn't do anything stupid, not that she was very successful at that.

And I say this because Sirius hadn't forgotten when I said I was a better prankster than the Marauders, and with a bruised ego and a desire to prove his superiority as a mischievous master, he tried to play a trick on me.

Emphasis on 'tried', as his first three attempts at pranks were discovered by me and I returned them twice, which frustrated and impressed him.

And after those first three pranks I decided it was my time to attack him, and so a prank war ensued between me and the great Lord Black.

But putting that war aside and getting back to the renovation, we were currently finalizing the kitchen renovation.

"{Reparo}" Remus said, casting the spell on the kitchen cupboards, fixing them.

"You know, if you added a large two-door cabinet in that corner it would look nicer and match that countertop," I said, rubbing my chin in thought.

"Hmm" Sirius muttered following my gaze, also with his hand on his chin, "You're right"

"I'm always right," I said, and Sirius didn't even bat an eyelid at this, having gotten used to my somewhat arrogant personality.

"Actually we can use that cupboard in the library hallway" Remus said, "And we'll just need to transfigure and repaint it to match the other furniture in the kitchen"

"Well then, let's finish tidying this place up and then we'll put another cupboard in here," Sirius said, going over to the countertop and opening one of its drawers.

He just wanted to see if there was anything inside the drawer, but as soon as he opened it, pink smoke was thrown in his face.

"One day I'm going back to Azkaban for killing a certain Ravenclaw," Sirius muttered, and in the background Remus was chuckling lightly, causing a vein to pop out of his forehead.

He then turned to me, who was just smiling innocently at him.

'Damn raven' Sirius thought, but inside he was smiling with some thoughts of revenge.

-Three days later-

"It looks like a totally different place here" Andromeda said as she looked around in amazement at the completely renovated 12 Grimmauld Place.

"Yes, after we got rid of the smell of death and decay, the wallpaper with claw marks and blood, and the furniture bought from a cemetery, it was more presentable here," Sirius said, nodding to himself in satisfaction.

And you couldn't even say that Sirius was exaggerating with this description, which made me question what purebloods saw as a noble and cozy house.

The house previously seemed an uninhabitable and gloomy place, which would be able to make even the happiest and most positive person in the world depressed and scared if they lived in it for 1 week.

And now, the house felt warm and cozy, perfect for a family to live in.

All the furniture has been repaired and some replaced, and the walls and ceilings were repainted and covered with blue and pale yellow wallpaper, and the floor was now a dark oak wood.

The kitchen now looked like a modern kitchen, mainly because Sirius didn't have the same problems as his family with having more things done by muggles in their house.

The library was now filled with books, obviously not counting the dark magic books, and all the organization was done by Remus, who like the scholar that he was, had happily offered to do it.

The other places were also fixed and cleaned, and Sirius and Harry's room was already organized and arranged to suit their tastes and personalities.

In short, 12 Grimmauld Place was now a warm and colorful house.

"But now, have you decided whether you're going to live here?" Andromeda asked Sirius, turning to her cousin.

And instead of answering, Sirius started to look around before frowning and looking down in thought.

"Sigh... In fact, a part of me wants to get away from this house and forget everything I've been through here" he said, with a sad look, "But I know that if I do, I'll just be running away of my problems... And this is something I've done a lot, and it only brought me more pain"

And this time he lifted his head, a determined look on his face that didn't hide his tension.

"And since I've become a free man I've decided never to run away again, so yes, I'm going to live in this house and make good memories with Harry, my family and my friends here" and saying that, Sirius turned to look for me and Andromeda, only to see us looking at him with satisfied smiles, and in Andy's case, proud.

"In that case, then I think having a party in this house would be a good start to this fond memories phase," she said, and that immediately caught Sirius' attention.

"A party" he asked excitedly, and Andromeda rolled her eyes amused at her cousin's antics.

"Wouldn't it be better to have a lunch with family and friends to inaugurate the new Black House?" I asked, "A party sounds too fancy"

"...Hmm, I think that's true," Andromeda agreed, and Sirius nodded.

"Well, in that case I'll leave the preparation for this lunch in your hands" he said to Andromeda, who looked at him dryly.

"What a great honor," she said, but didn't deny his request.

And hearing that Sirius gave Andromeda a huge smile before turning to me.

"Sorry, but I don't know how to organize a lunch and I'm not even a good cook" I said shaking my head.

"How unexpected," he said sarcastically, and I snorted.

He then shook his head, "Actually, I wanted to ask if you could accompany Harry to the shopping center, and maybe even help him buy a few things."

"Few things? Like what?" I asked.

"Hmm, like some new clothes, some games, and whatever else he wants to decorate his room." he replied, and I paused for a moment.

"Hmm, I can accompany him to the shopping tomorrow since I won't be busy." I said.

"That's great" Sirius said, "I already went to Gringotts and took some galleons out of my account and converted them to muggle money, so I'll hand this money over to him and he'll be able to buy whatever he wants tomorrow."

"How much money are we talking about?" I asked curious.

"I think about £5,000," he said, and Andromeda standing beside him stopped, winking at him.

"Oh, with that amount you can buy a few things" I nodded disinterestedly.

"What do you mean few things?! Do you know how much 5 thousand pounds is?" Andromeda asked us with a stunned look.

Sirius and I, listening to her question, looked at each other before turning back to her.

""5 thousand pounds?"" we said, and she just stared at us with her right eye twitching.

"You know, why I'm still talking to these two crazy rich people" she said throwing her hands up in exasperation, something totally unexpected from her who is a serious and calm person.

And seeing that I looked at Sirius, who shrugged at me.

-Scamanders' House-

In a large house surrounded by trees and flowers, an elderly couple were sitting in the kitchen drinking tea. The man was writing in a diary while looking at a blue horned ant in a jar, and the woman was sewing a cloak as she hummed.

*Knock! Knock!*

"Honey, are you expecting visitors?" Newt, who was a scruffy-looking old man who had some claw scars near his neck asked his wife, Tina.

Tina was an older but energetic looking woman who had brown eyes and gray hair streaked with brown.

"Huh? No, I'm not expecting any visitors," she replied, getting up from the chair she was sitting in and heading to the door.

Arriving at the door and opening it, she came face to face with an old acquaintance, who was accompanied by his wife.

"Err...Nick?" she asked somewhat surprised, "What a surprise to see you here"

"Is it so surprising that we come to visit some friends of ours?" he asked with a slight amused smile, before looking into the house over Tina's shoulder.

"Is Newt home?" he asked, and Tina nodded.

"Huh? Yeah, he's over there in the kitchen," she said, stepping aside to allow Nick and Penny to enter.

As soon as they entered Newt came to see who was at the door, and saw the two immortals in front of him.

"Nick? Penny?" he asked.

"Hello Newt" Penny waved at him happily.

"What are you doing here?" he asked.

And listening to this question Nick and Penny looked at each other before Nick spoke, "Actually, we would like to make a request for you... and this request involves a certain boy who, like you, has a great gift involving magical creatures"

And hearing that Newt's gaze changed from curiosity to interest.

"Oh, tell me more about him," he said.

End.

But unfortunately there are some things that they said they would change in the work that I didn't like very much.)
