Getting Jealous of His Friends
Kanaru's trance broke when Eann exclaimed once again. The bird prince turned to look for the lizard, but the other had seemingly vanished behind the mountains of offerings given to the unicorn king. When one mountain threatened to fall, Kanaru figured Eann found something at the foot of one of them.
Like what Kanaru thought, Fenris and Eann were trying to take something from underneath the pile. Surely and gently, they wriggled the item out, only for Eann to hug it in excitement after. He then got to his feet to show Kanaru. "Kanaru, look! It's a bejeweled music box, but it's shaped like an egg!"
What Eann showed him was a white egg-shaped music box with pearls and other circular gems running across in multiple infinity patterns. Eann also opened it after a few shakes to undo the latch, letting the dancer slowly spin. There was sweet music coming from it, and it was enough to make Kanaru smile. Since it sat on Eann's hand perfectly, he didn't take it from the lizard.
