Chapter 02: Filler

At that moment, every player was transported to the town center. While Hisoka was transported to a viewing area above everyone else, where he could observe unseen. Everyone was talking nervously, until they noticed a red hexagon{A/N: "I believe the locals call it a "Hex-i-gon"? Not sure if I'm pronouncing that right, I'll have to check back with you."} in the sky that said "Announcement", which then began to cover the sky and a blood-like substance started to leak through the edges, taking form of a large, floating red robe with gold detailing.

{A/N: What happens here is pretty much the same as the anime, I won't bother writing it, plus it's boring to have it exactly the same as the anime}

As Kayaba disappears back to whence he came, everyone is left looking around, still panicking about their situation. Some seem to be accepting their fate, while the rest... they deny it strongly, some even go as far as to curse out Kayaba. But the one who is happiest here out of all of them... is unsurprisingly Hisoka, in fact, he seems almost giddy, and in his viewing area, he has no fear of showing it.

===============

After Hisoka finished sadistically watching everyone panic, he teleported to the top floor, the main residence/castle of Aincrad. Here, he can watch the events of each floor, all at once, and on a giant screen!

Along with all the screens showing the different floors, there are a lot of buttons. Although they are unnecessary, they look cool. Finally, there is a desk with a single monitor, and on this monitor is a continuously scrolling wall of text. This wall of text is the main console of SAO, not only can you enter commands on it, but you can also view the commands history, error/bug log, or any other issues that need attention.

Oh, and it should be mentioned there is also a scale model of Aincrad. Now, you might be thinking 'how does all of this stuff fit' well, the answer to that is "Game Logic". While this game is pretty realistic, it doesn't mean spaces can be larger than they look or should. This is a very common practice in some games, mostly ones with lower graphics or top-down RPG's.

But enough about that, we aren't here to talk about logic, we're here to read an SAO fanfic, this whole part totally wasn't for word count because I'm running out of ideas how this might progress, not at all.

Well, while we were talking physics, our MC has been typing away, fixing any and all bugs that arise in the game, making sure no duplication glitch can get through. Though the amount of bugs there actually are, are a lot fewer in quantity than one would think for such a complicated game, and that is all due to the fact that this game was so masterfully crafted.

Once our MC decides that he has finished up his work for the day, he moves right over the array of screens to watch the progress the players have made, and unsurprisingly it's not too much as it's only the first day and everyone is still affected by the news. Some more experienced players however have already started out to get the good loot early to get a head start on everyone.

After some time of watching them, Hisoka then decides that some nice rest is in order. {A/N: The Author also thinks this is probably a good idea as it is 11:12PM.}

===============

Sorry for this both being a shorter chapter and it being pretty much filler. I hope that you still enjoyed it and I'll try to come up with some interesting things for Hisoka to do. Until then, Author out!

Sorry for this just being a filler chapter, it isn't easy writing something like this. I hope you've all enjoyed the story so far though.

Creation is hard, cheer me up!
