Meeting Kyros

Diary,

As Lissa, Tony and I carefully opened each door, looking for any hint available, I prayed silently. I could feel the suppressing atmosphere in the entire building. It was like my senses became extra sensitive and I could feel the presence of demons around us. I heard Tony speaking in tongues quietly as we checked the rooms. Surprisingly, every room we checked looked very normal. Three bathrooms and toilets, a huge study which we eventually entered into.

"So many books!" Lissa exclaimed, looking at the row of huge shelves in awe, being the bookworm herself, lined in the study.

"Who would've thought that a cult leader would be so interested in books?" Tony said as we checked a table that had a name- Kyros and insignia written on it. Kyros C. B.

"Kyros C. B. ? Woaw..." Lissa said, her voice trailing off.

"What could those initials mean? Hmm we need more clues."

"Yeah. This could be a lead. We could find out his full name, conduct a background search and find out more about this Kyros guy." I said.

"Yeah but where do we get resources?" Lissa asked as Tony smiled lopsidedly and spread out his arms.

"Well, we're in his study!"

"Oh my gosh! Are those footsteps I hear?!" Tony asked as our faces went white and pale.

"Run, run, run!" I urged as we all ran to the door and hid behind the nearest bookshelf as Kyros and a few men walked in.

"Any updates? Have you gotten any latest updates on her whereabouts?" Kyros' deep voice boomed as he sat in his chair.

"No sir, not at all." A man replied.

"And why's that?! Didn't you send her the picture already? What about the plan to lure her back to Ravenshire?" He asked.

"Yes sir, we've already set the plan in motion. We just can't seem to understand why she hasn't come yet."

"She can't keep delaying me! Look, if she doesn't arrive by the end of this week, I'll have you guys bring her here immediately. Got it?!" He asked as they all nodded.

"Yes sir!"

"Now leave."

"Get me Danielle." He said to a guard as he bowed and left immediately.

"Arrgghh!" Kyros shouted, hitting his fists on his table.

What is he so angry about?

Soon, he started pacing about and when Danielle entered, he stopped.

"You called me?" She asked, folding her arms as Kyros rested his hands on her shoulders.

"Danielle, I need you to keep an eye on those kids. Remember, the big day's coming. We cannot afford to let anyone of them escape. But you'll have to stick to the plan. I hope the others are ready?" He asked.

"Yes they're ready. I just hope that plan works, Kyros. The bond they share is so strong, it's definitely going to be hard, finding an unguarded place to penetrate and end them."

"Besides that, how are you going to get Jael to come over?" She asked as I froze.

Jael? Who's Jael? I hope it's not what I'm thinking....

Don't bother yourself about that. Just do what you have to do well. And don't let sentiments get to you, Danielle." Kyros said, using a warning tone.

"Of course not. Don't worry, I'll carry out my duties excellently. You know me, Kyros. You know what I'm capable of." She said, smiling seductively as I gagged. Tony signalled to us that the door was open so we sneaked out of the study.

As we walked down the hall, I had so many thought running through my mind. Lissa looked at me sympathetically.

"Oh Sandy, you have to calm down...I know this is getting scary but let trust God...that's the only thing we can do."

"Yeah, thanks. I'm just praying it's not my mum...." I Said, rubbing my hands together as Tony patted my shoulder.

"Yeah we'll pray for her."

"Now, any ideas on how to get more info on Kyros' background? We already have his first name and initials." I asked.

"We need to monitor his movements and know when the study is free so that we can make some research. There has to be something about his background that we can research about there."

"Let's get back to the others..."

Have some idea about my story? Comment it and let me know.
