The Chimera

"Don't call me that, I hate it when people call me that. It brings bad memories"

Ean replied while pointing the tip of his blade at Ori, and as soon as he did, a blue aura began to spew from the sword, making Ean's simple and calm looking stance, into an ominous and scary one

"You injure my sisters and then you proceed to tell me what to do?.."

Ori questioned with an annoyed look on his face, as a purple aura began to surround his body

"Well, they did say they wanted to kill me. Besides, I didn't kill them like they were planning to do with me, I simply.."

Ean said, stopping abruptly, trying to come up with a good explanation so that he could reason with Ori

"...immobilized them"

Said Ean, with a small smile on his face as he placed his left hand on his chin while looking at the sky

"Simply? You ripped their limbs off you fucking bastard"

Ori replied, with an irritated tone as the veins on his forehead became noticeable

"Hey.."

Said Ean, with a deep tone as his proud looking smile disappeared

"I thought I told you to stop calling me that"

Ean whispered, loud enough for Ori to hear him, before lowering his sword along with his head. Glaring at Ori with an annoyed expression

"And I thought I told you, that you shouldn't give me orders"

Ori replied, as his aura grew larger, and just as his aura began to intensify, so did his intentions.

He then began to approach Ean, taking small steps to get there

"It was a favor, not an order"

Ean replied while moving his blade to a side, beginning to walk toward Ori.

"Well I'm not doing it for you"

"Oh yeah?"

"Yeah"

They said, exchanging small words before getting close enough to each other, to hear their own breathing.

And just when they are about to exchange attacks, a chimera interrupted their conflict, swinging its serpent tail in between the two, causing them to jump backward, turning their attention to the giant monster

"Come on.."

Ean whispered, looking up at the Chimera with a tired expression

"Cant I just take a break, battle after battle, injury after injury. This is all annoying"

Ean said to himself, while Ori simply stared at the beast with even more anger

"You almost killed them"

Said Ori, while pointing at his unconscious sisters, accusing the monster of murder

"I don't have the time for this"

Ean whispered, with an annoyed tone before making the energy that spewed from his sword, thinner. Moving that concreted and thin energy to the ends of the blade, thus making it sharper than it was before

"I'll kill you in one blow!"

Ean exclaimed, proceeding to run toward the chimera, but as soon as he got close enough to the beast, it began to swing its serpent tail, using its tail to block Ean from getting closer, taking a few steps back in the process

"Those points are ours!"

Ori yelled before jumping into the air, landing on top of the chimera's head while Ean tried to avoid its tail, dodging left and right, proceeding to jump a few meters into the air, landing on the ground a few seconds later, sliding through it with difficulty as the tail chased after him, slithering and slamming its body on the ground, making Ean's movements worse than more than they already were

"Gigantification: Hercules's Fist!"

Ori yelled, while his arm grew significantly bigger, and just like his arm, his strength also grew.

With said acquired strength, he would swing his arm down, punching the Chimera's lying head, causing the monster to grow angry, now swinging its head from left to right.

"You angered it, moron!"

Ean yelled, looking up at Ori from the ground while dodging the chimera's tail which began to move with more intensity

"I tried to kill it, unlike you, who so proudly yelled that he would slay this beast. Yet he's down there, running from its tail!"

Ori replied, yelling back at Ean, who simply clicked his tongue, giving his attention back to the tail

"I would have killed it if I rested a little longer, but you and your annoying sisters didn't let me heal long enough to take care of this beast!"

"That's your problem for sleeping in a forest where you can be killed at any time!"

"You little.."

But just like that their conflicted conversation would end, as the Chimera would swing its tail with yet more force, giving Ean no choice but to block it, being sent flying across the forest

"That's what you get, you unreasonable bastard!"

Ori yelled, proceeding to laugh at Ean, before being abruptly shut by the Chimera, which with the use of its other head, used its teeth to pull Ori by his clothes, raising its tiger head high, swinging it down while opening its mouth, hurling Ori against the ground, creating a small crater.

"Ugh-"

Ori exclaimed while spitting out blood as a loud comical laugh was heard

"Karma's a bitch, ain't it!?"

Ean yelled, walking out the destroyed trees with a smirk on his face, laughing at Ori's possible demise

"Shut up you bastard"

"I told you to stop calling me that"

"Well, I won't stop"

Ori replied while walking out of the small crater, avoiding an attack by the Chimera's gigantic paw. And soon after that, he would run away from the Chimera's range, heading specifically toward Ean, who was staring at him with a calm expression

"Looks like you can't kill it, and I mostly can't either, I'm in pretty bad shape right now, besides, I can't use my full power, my body won't be able to hold on for long, especially with this damaged body, so.."

Ean whispered while staring at Ori who walked toward him, moving to a side and standing next to him

"So?"

Ori questioned while turning his attention to Ean as he raised an eyebrow

"So. we'll have to team up for now"

Ean suggested, while Ori simply took in a deep breath, proceeding to exhale seconds later

"Yeah, I was thinking the same thing. But once this is over, I'm killing you"

"Yeah Yeah"
