32: Almost unlimited wish.

Samus was shocked by what was in front of her. The sheer raw power contained in that little muffin was so much that she felt uncomfortable even looking at it directly. Ciri, on the other hand, was curious about the strange object in front of her, so she moved closer to see it.

"Can I have one too?" thought Ciri, thinking it was just another magical candy, although she felt that the chocolate muffin in front of her was very special, she didn't notice anything outstanding.

"Oh no, you have to ask her. This muffin is special. You can make almost any wish by tasting one bite, it's not like the normal version, whose powers can even distort the timeline and reality," Nana Boom Boom said normally.

Well, how many things has she not seen and experienced? She still remembers the godson who got very excited when he read the works of one Lovecraft and because of his boundless desire, they had to rewrite the whole human history from scratch to remove the power leaked by one of those terrible monsters that had been fixed in this universe because of a child's whimsical wish.

"Have I done anything important enough to deserve something so precious?" asked Samus, who had managed to look away from such a coveted muffin.

She admitted that not only was she thrilled to have something so powerful at her disposal, but she even felt that she could learn a little more about the manipulation of reality that magical godfathers do.

Samus didn't know it now, but her interest in reality-warping was strongly influenced by the experiences she was living now, because of her enlightenment as an alchemist, she was getting closer to the path that every experienced alchemist in the omniverse reaches, although she still had a long way to go.

"Sure you did, you helped the axis of destiny of this era, Timmy Turner, to overcome his attitude, and not only that, you managed to make it a really deep learning, he will never go back to his ways," Nana said, offering the muffin to Samus again.

"The only drawback is that it's not like the original muffin, each portion has a limited amount of energy, so not only can the wishes not be infinite, they have a limit. If you eat the whole thing, you can achieve something extremely amazing, if it's just a bite, only something that can surpass a normal fairy," Nana Boom Boom's advice suited Samus, who wasted no time in biting into the muffin.

"I want a book with all the magical knowledge of the wizards of Earth," Samus originally thought of asking about all the wizards in the universe, but she guessed that would be too much.

Soon, a book appeared in front of everyone, giving off an eerie vibe so strong that the light seemed to dim. Soon, a chuckle erupted from the book, but just before anything more important happened, Samus bit into the muffin again.

"Remove all danger possessed by the book I wished for," with a quick reaction from Samus, reality changed again.

"What's going on!!! I couldn't even say my name! AAaaarrghhhh!" the sinister voice screamed ominously, and all the corrupted magical power possessed by the book was removed as if it had never been there, leaving only a simple black book.

"Girl! What the hell was that?" asked Jorgen, who was already on his feet, holding his huge wand as if it were a club.

"I don't know, maybe some cliché of an ancient and undead wizard looking for a chance to be reborn, a classic if you ask me," Samus joked as she stood up and reached for the book.

She patted the cover and handed it to Ciri with a big smile on her face.

"And here's your trick, how cool am I?" said Samus jokingly as she patted her toned butt. The blonde's pride in her own body seemed to grow even more after seeing her truth.

"Sometimes I don't know what to do with you, but thank you," Ciri took the book from Samus' hands, and then a smile appeared on her face.

She was excited, not only because she would have the chance to learn magic, but also because Samus was wasting two precious wishes on her, something that gave her a strange feeling in her stomach. Looking up, she met Samus' blue eyes and a slight blush came to her cheeks.

"Well, what can I ask for now?" Samus quickly looked away and brought up a topic out of nowhere, she didn't want to admit that she was too happy about Ciri's thanks, at least not in front of Jorgen and her grandmother.

"You can ask for a lot of things that are useful to you, the muffin is yours after all," said Nana, who had brought more explosive cookies to her strapping grandson's delight.

"Oh, I know, I have a wish I've been wanting to grant," Samus took a quick bite of the muffin, this time a big one so that only half of the dessert was left.

"I wish to access the signal of the universal show 'Reincarnation Battle Royal'," The world seemed to stop at this wish, but since it was only the signal and not an invitation to be a live viewer, her T-Path appeared out of nowhere, covered in a golden glow.

Soon, T-Path was projecting several screens in front of everyone, all of them revolving around a much larger one that showed some sort of commercial.

"As we approach the 80th chapter of this new season, we have an important announcement to make..." Samus turned off T-Path and put it back in her personal space.

"Phew, I'll have to deal with that later," Samus said, noticing the strange looks people were giving her.

"What was that, Samus?" asked Ciri curiously.

"Oh, a long time ago I discovered a faint stray signal from a program made by the ultimate deity of this omniverse, but not everyone could access it, I didn't think the wish would allow me to get the real signal, maybe they improved their means, who knows.

It's an interesting program, 10,000 reincarnated people are placed in a world to see how many survive for a year. They seem to have 80 episodes, how interesting," Samus explained, causing Ciri to nod, but leaving Nana and Jorgen even more confused.

"If you wanted the sign, you could have told me, I even have a VIP pass to see the show," Jorgen said, making Samus stare at him for a few seconds before lowering her head in defeat.

The two superior beings present seemed to see a black smoke of resentment around Samus as the poor blonde squeezed the rest of the muffin.

Samus then let out a very loud scream, causing Ciri to shake her head, remembering again that Samus was just a 15-year-old girl. Yes, she was skilled and smart, even much more mature than some adults, but she was just an underage girl full of hormones and teenage meltdowns.

"Well, look on the bright side, at least you learned to ask before you make a wish," Ciri joked, making Samus look up, her blue eyes looking like blocks of ice, full of cold.

"One of my goals for the future is to have a VIP card, you'll see, Jorgen, you'll see," as if it was all the fault of the stout fairy, Samus returned to her normal mood while Jorgen shook his shoulders.

"That reminds me, since you're an alchemist, wouldn't it be nice to have an omniverse transaction ritual for yourself? I have mine, sometimes I play a superior god or annoying demon in some lower-level universes," Jorgen said as if what he had just said was nothing more than lip service.

But it made Samus' eyes sparkle with curiosity and determination, while Ciri patted her face, knowing that Samus would go crazy with this topic for a while, you could say he already knew her well enough to predict her reaction to certain situations.

"THAT SOUNDS GREAT! I can get resources and information, and I can even meet interesting people out there," Samus muttered as she looked at the rest of the muffin in her hand, already thinking about what she was going to wish for, but first, she looked at the two fairies present.

"Do you know how to do a custom transaction ritual?" her question made the others burst out laughing as she blushed with nervousness and embarrassment.

"Oh, of course, I do, I'll teach you both, but first I have to find some books on the subject," Jorgen continued to laugh at Samus' question before disappearing from the room.

"Well, I don't have a wish in mind, but maybe you do, Ciri," Samus handed the remaining half of the muffin to Ciri, who pushed aside the magic book she got today before holding the dessert.

"Do you think it's enough? You've already made me learn magic for the rest of my life, are you sure you don't have any other wishes?" asked Ciri, causing Samus to fall silent as she looked at the green-eyed girl.

"My dreams are too big to be fulfilled by a mere wish, and my deepest wish was already fulfilled when I kissed you earlier," Samus said cheekily, still maintaining her pride, even though she was blushing from her words and almost choked up several times during her speech, which sounded epic in her mind.

Ciri smiled as she watched poor Samus babbling romantic nonsense, she swears she saw white smoke coming out of her friend's head, but she just kept quiet for a few seconds before eating the rest of the muffin.

It was delicious, the chocolate tasted perfect, and it had just enough sugar to not be bland or bitter, but not too sweet either. Then she felt it, that strange feeling that whatever she said would happen, whenever she had to say 'wish' at the beginning. It was an intoxicating power, but temporary, so she just said her wish.

"I wish that my bloodline could not be traced by people I do not approve of" Ciri's wish then changed something fundamental in her, she felt the mighty power that always coursed through her veins somehow become much more docile, as if it no longer desperately wanted to call out its origin.

According to Samus, Ciri's bloodline had been tracked by the elves who had harassed Ciri for years, tapping into the bloodline's desire to return. Probably something the creators of such a bloodline never expected, but no doubt haunted the poor girl through many universes.

Now, Ciri felt she had a little more control over her lineage, and without thinking, she designated Samus as someone who could track the unique energy signature left behind by the use of her powers. Although Ciri had a cloak made by Samus, it was ultimately something that could be destroyed or taken away, hence her wish.

"Hey, that's an excellent wish," Samus said, sitting down next to her as she took the egg in her lap.

The wish affected not only Ciri but also the indeterminate life that now lay on the blonde's legs; if it ever wandered away from them by accident, no one would be able to track it down like those pesky wild hunter elves.

"I guess so, but I'll never take this off," Ciri picked up the wolf head necklace that hung around her neck, an amulet that helped her a lot with this untrackability thing, Samus's handiwork.

"Well, but it looks like I'll have to plan what other amulet to make for you, although I do have some ideas in mind," the blonde said as some interesting ideas came to her small blonde head.

"But first, take a bath," Ciri said, interrupting Samus before she went into a frenzy of rampant studying.

Realizing that she smelled really bad, Samus looked at Nana Boom Boom, who had been watching the whole interaction with a smile on her face.

"Come, I'll take you to the bathroom," the old fairy said, making Samus excited at the prospect of bathing in a magical world.

Alchemists are just as annoying as wizards, being curious about everything," the old woman thought, noticing Samus' possible thoughts, but not that they bothered her.

After all, alchemists, wizards, and mad scientists in the Omniverse were pretty much the same thing: a deranged bunch.
