'I wasted too much time, and I should have been patient, activating the skill when it gets closer would have been the best option' Sephie understood what went wrong, she had impatiently activated the [TIME PAUSE] skill too early, with the ability to pause the target for 2 seconds, she should have known that the Thunder wolf would escape before she could deliver the killing blow.

It was true what her father told her, Sephie was impressed by how fast her brain was working, 'As father said, there is no better way to train than in the face of danger' Sephie took her fighting stance ready for the wolf's attack.

She had made a mistake and that was expecting the other wolves to not interfere in her battle with the 2 tailed Thunder wolf, her total focus was on the wounded wolf, so she didn't notice a wolf sneak up on her.

The wolf opened its jaws and then closed them on Sephie's ankle, the wolf's long canines pierced her ankle sending jolts of pain into her brain.

She almost dropped her spear in pain, as the wolf forcefully dragged the back of her ankle, she knew she was going to fall and a wolf was charging at her, the 2 tailed Thunder wolf was not slowing down, so she fell expecting the two wolves to collide.

The 2 tailed wolves had not expected to see another wolf behind its prey, as Sephie went down it pounced forward, Twisting its body in the air and trying to change its landing position, the other wolf was still trying to pull Sephie that it didn't notice the Two-tailed wolf impact, which made it release her ankle, allowing her to roll away from the 2 wolves.

Sephie sprung back up and successfully escaped from the 2 wolves due to their dazed state after the collision, Sephie could hear howls coming from her back ' They are still fighting, I should try to finish this quickly, and see if I can help' she thought as she managed to finally stand on her feet baring through the pain from her ankle.

The 2 tailed wolves howled into the sky, the howl made all four wolves charge at Sephie, She took her fighting stance, bent forward a little using her right arm as a guard, placing her spear over her right arm, she breathed in and out walking for the wolves to get closer.

As the wolves did she opened her mouth to activate her skill [Spear-Art ---- First form Spear-dance] the Energy in her body drained up to activate the Spear Art technique, and the body became fast and nimble, the Spear-Art also drained her of her Magicka at the activation of the Art applying the effects of the Skill [TIME PAUSE].

As long as she uses the Spear-Art techniques or Any Art techniques given that she has a Magic Spell it would incorporate the Spell into the skill, that was the reason only Warriors at the 3nd-Circle called Aura Master could use Art techniques.

The wolves became slow immediately She activated the Spear-Art, 'I have to End this in 3 Seconds' she thought as she dashed towards the slightly slowed wolves, the way the Art technique worked was to increase the speed and agility of its user and use the Spell [TIME PAUSE] to reduces the reaction time of anyone caught in the spell.

Sephie used her increased speed to her advantage since she was somewhat faster than normal Warriors in her level, she thrust her spear directly into the head of the first wolf she came in contact with, and the wolf did realize that its reaction time had been slowed a little, so it was not able to dodge the spear in time.

Sephie spear pierced the wolf's brain killing it immediately, she quickly drew out the spear from the wolf's head the threw the spear as a javelin toward one of the other wolves, it was one of the skills taught to her by the vampire instructor, a skill every spear man or woman must learn.

It was a normal skill that doesn't also count as a skill because it would not show in the soul card if learned, the spear passed through one of the charging wolves breaking its Energy core on impact, and a familiar sensation washed over sephie, it was the sensation she got when she finish absorbing the Energy crystal she used in her awakening process.

'what is this' she wondered but now was not the time to think about it as she had one second remaining for the backlash from using An Art technique that she was too weak to use.

*Ding* Skill learned - Javelin Throw

Sephie saw the Soul card message but she couldn't read it yet, she still had 2 move wolves to deal with and her Art technique was about to end, with no weapon in her hand she charged towards the coming wolves.

As she got in range of the 2 tailed wolf, she controlled the semi-liquid substance in her left hand to form another spear but instead of forming another spear like she thought it would, the spear she had thrown as a javelin pulled out from it stuck position, flying towards her at great speed.

She could feel the speed of the spear and she knew it would get to her hand before she got closer to the 2 tailed wolf, so she threw her hands in a swinging motion, the spear entered the middle of her palms smoothly and she did what she did with she threw the spear as a javelin, she added her half of her remaining Magicka into the spear, covering the spear with Magicka.

She swung the spear at the 2 tailed wolf's side, but the wolf couldn't react in time as the spear cut through its body, destroying its Energy core in the process, and just like before Sephie felt the sensation again, she looked towards the last wolf, as the wolf made eye contact, she activated [TIME PAUSE] causing the already slowed wolf to pause in its track, this gave Her enough time to impale the wolf through its brain.

The Spear Art backlash struck sephie and she fell unconscious immediately.
