Painter of Savagery is the first book of thoughts that ever expanded my level of understanding of human relationships. A draft of its piece had been made in the past, three years ago, but because of my insecurities, I had to gatekeep it to myself, but not anymore.
The book speaks of human fear, most especially in the case of the first-born child - eldest male or female, and how they had to give up any opportunities of love, joy, and dreams for the betterment of their family. How they have to become mature at a very tender age. How they had a cup full of responsibilities that they weren't strong enough to lift or drink but overcame anyway.
Not only the first-borns but every mature child and adult who wasn't able to enjoy the privilege of growing up with love or fun.
Sirena is one of these victims, and her story is a great one to read. Her mistakes reshaped her to a better person. She fought diligently for her soul. She was almost redeemed, and her life began to build colors.
