As Angel and Lucien were pulled into the living room, bombarded with an orchestra of delighted questions by Dylla and Lucia, Ronan stopped Raven before he had a chance to follow them.

/"That was mean, birdie,/" he chided, smacking his hand across the big guy's chest. /"You can't throw something like that out —/"

/"I can and I did,/" Raven said with a chuckle. /"In my defence, I did it for his own good./"

Quirking an eyebrow, Ronan said, /"How was that for his own good?/"

/"Because he was having second thoughts. Remember when we went to breakfast before we came here? You and Luci were playing in the arcade and he told me that he was starting to talk himself out of it./"

/"Why? He'd be a great dad./"
