Resting back on the couch, Qrow talked to his brother-in-law, ignoring his panicking.

"Oi Tai, what should we name this kid?"

"What do you mean WE! This is your issue here. Summer just got pregnant, and you try to leave me with another kid."

Exasperated, the blond father tried to reason with Qrow.

"Well, it's either you two lovebirds pick him up, and raise him in a kind, nurturing environment with at least one parent around at all times. Or, you decide to let your drunkard of a teammate who is gone most of the time on missions, leaving a poor, innocent child Faunus to suffer in a city that doesn't like them."

"Don't guilt-trip me into doing this Qrow, right now I need to care for Yang, Summer, and soon Ruby, I don't need a fourth kid to handle, besides I don't know if Summer'll agree."

"I agree."

Walking slowly from down the stairs, Summer spoke to her former teammates.

"Qrow is right about what would happen if we left him to others. Also, Qrow and his semblance don't mix well with a fragile child."

"But...how will Yang adjust to this! She's used to being the only child, and now she has to come to terms with another kid hogging her spotlight!"

Watching Summer's face go from a peaceful, kind image to a stern disciplinary one, Qrow gave a small chuckle before opening the flask in his jacket's inner pocket. He knew very well how much she cared about saving people and helping the innocent. Taiyang, trying to go against both, would not be let off easily.

"Ooooh, you're in for in now Tai, better quit while you're ahead and save what you can."

Laughing at his friend's dismal expression, he was surprised to be suddenly accosted by Summer.

"And you! Although I agree that he should stay here with us, he wouldn't have to if you weren't an irresponsible, drunk old crow with the brain the same size as one."

"Tch. Well, at least I tried to be responsible, I mean, I didn't let the toddler die in the forest after all."

"Yeah, but your first thought was to pass him along to us. As punishment, he's taking your last name."

About to retort, Qrow decided to take his advice and keep quiet. It wasn't the worst punishment he could have gotten, but being the legal guardian of a child still didn't feel right with him. In an attempt to get back at them he responded.

"Alright, fine, but, you two need to raise him as if he were your own. If he sees me as a father figure, imagine all the chaos that'd cause. Think of it, a mini-me without my bad luck? His ego alone could kill a Grimm."

"Fine, that's not a problem with us."

"But, Summer what about-"

"I said, that's not a problem with us Tai. I'm taking this kid, like it or not. Don't test me on this."

Finally acquiescing, Tai unhappily agrees to take in the kid, albeit with restrictions. Explaining to Qrow his idea of, down the line, making the kid a sort of bodyguard against threats, and unwanted attention from the opposite gender. Qrow, laughing, tells him that he should be aware of the fact that he could fall for them, they for him, or worse, both. Summer, now listening in to her friend and her husband's plan had a thought. Imagine her husband's face when he realizes that his daughters have fallen for his brother-in-law's adopted son. With a vicious gleam in her eye, she went upstairs, saying goodbye to the boys with the excuse of needing some rest, when in reality she had three main goals, 1 think up a good name for the new face to feed, 2 get Yang to understand why there was a new face to feed, and 3 try to get Yang to have a crush on him, and maybe Ruby if she finds it funny.

Unknowing of his wife's goals, Taiyang now realized the fact that a child with unknown origins came to him from Qrow, the playboy.

"Wait, Qrow, don't tell me this is your bastard son and that's why you got him! It would also explain why you're fine with him having your name."

Looking at his friend with a, what?? look, Qrow laughed at him saying,

"Nah, besides, otherwise he'd have my luscious locks, although I will admit, the white doesn't look half-bad on him."

"God, you're a narcissist."
