Chapter 1

The night was silent as crickets chirped, the wind blew a cool breeze as the grass swayed. The water having a shine of the moon reflected off of it. All was soon interrupted by yelling, and splattering sounds.

The sounds echoed through the hall of Beacon academy as it was coming from JNPR's room. There on the floor lied Ruby's and Yang's as Jaune was smashing their bodies with Nora's hammer, the room was covered in blood. As well as the beds and Jaune.

Jaune panted as he swung Nora's hammer over his head glancing down at the two now dead bodies, he had the look of murder in his eyes as he gritted his teeth. "It's over....finally...it's all over..." He dropped the hammer as he collapsed onto the floor.

The birds chirped singing their morning tune, as the sun light beamed down onto Jaune's face, waking him up. He jolted up in bed as he glances around. "It was a dream? No it felt too real...I should probably tell Pyrrha or someone."

Jaune got out of bed as he went to was his face, he hovered over the sink for a moment as he clinched the sides of it. "Come on Jaune...snap out of it, it had to be a dream. That's the only explanation."

While the water from the sink faucet was running, a hand reached over touching Jaune on the shoulder. Startling him, as he spun around to see who it was. "R-Ruby, don't do that...you nearly gave me a heart attack."

Ruby giggled a little as she waves her hands. "Sorry Jaune. I heard you talking to yourself, is everything okay?"

Jaune glances around for a bit as he looked back Ruby. "Actually, no..everything's not okay..." He scooted past her as he didn't say much more. He stopped by the bed and grabbed his sword and shield. "I need to go train for a bit...I'll tell you later." With that, Jaune left the dorm room.

Ruby had a confused look on her face as she tilts her head. "Oh, okay then." She left JNPR's dorm as she went back to hers where her team was at. "That was weird..."

"What was?" Yang asked as she looked at her sister.

"Jaune had his sword and shield with him in his dorm. Usually they're kept in the lockers, I wonder what made him change his mind." Ruby said. "Not to mention he told me everything wasn't okay, but he didn't say what."

Weiss would shrug a bit. "I honestly don't know what to tell you Ruby. Maybe it's personal stuff he doesn't want to share, who knows."

"By the way, Weiss. You didn't happen to throw those letters out you got from Jaune did you?" Blake asked looking up from her book.

"I have." Weiss said. "Let him wait on a answer, you know how he gets if he see me writing something down. All nervous, and starts jumbling his words together ."

"True." Yang said as she crossed her arms. "By the way Ruby, Professor Goodwitch found this weird statue in the courtyard. Looked like it belongs in a shrine or something like that."

"Statue?" Ruby asked scooting Yang over to look out the window, her eyes locked onto the statue as she noticed Glynda outside with it still. "Huh, let's go take a look."

Blake closes her book as she lets out a sigh. "Alright, let's go see if Professor Goodwitch needs help moving it somewhere."

RWBY went out into the courtyard as Glynda was examining the statue more, she noticed Ruby and the three walking over. "So you've all noticed it as well?"

"Kinda hard not to, you were out here earlier." Yang said with her arms behind her head. "So, what did you find out about this?"

"Nothing, not a single thing was found about it." Glynda said. "However, it is a distraction...would you kindly move this?"

"Sure, where?" Yang asked as her and the others went over to the statue.

Before Glynda could say anything on where to move it, the statue began to shine and glow. RWBY and Glynda were then pushed back from a powerful force from the statue.

"What's going on?" Blake asked. "That statue just pushed us back." Not hearing the voices from her team, Blake got glanced around noticing a distorted area. The statue was within the distorted area with her. "Where am I?"

"You are in my domain." A voice called out from the statue as a visible figure appeared. "It seems space and time have been altered. This isn't my universe, nor are you who I've been seeking."

Blake got on her guard. "Who are you? What's the meaning of all this, and how am I the only one capable of seeing you?"

"I am Oyashiro...as I've said already, space and time have been altered. You and your friends were never meant to find my statue, but seeing as you have already done that. My place is here in your world." Oyashiro spoke as she locked eyes with Blake.

"Oyashiro? Space and time?" Blake asked. "What do you mean?"

Oyashiro soon took a familiar form of Pyrrha, as she walked over to Blake. "The one you know as Pyrrha Nikos is no longer in this world. After my arrival here, she had fallen into a dark abyss."

Blake would shake her head as she was trying to wake up, she slapped her face and pinched herself. "This isn't real, this has to be a joke..." She opened her eyes realizing she was still in the distorted area.

"This isn't a dream." Oyashiro said. "This is all real, starting now. Your world will be changed...as I will be taking Pyrrha's place."

"You expect me to call you Pyrrha!? That isn't going to happen!" Blake shouted.

Oyashiro's eyes glowed as she had eyes locked with Blake's still. "No one will believe you, everything will seem normal. But everything won't be as you remembered."

"What do you mean by that?" Blake asked as she passed out, not getting her question answered.

Oyashiro glanced around the empty space seeing fragments of different timelines appear up, ones that had a successful victory, failure and ones that were just starting. She snapped her fingers. "This world will reset when you or your friends die."

Blake woke up as she glanced around seeing Ruby looking down at her. "R-Ruby?"

"Thank Oum you're awake." Ruby said helping Blake up. "Do you remember what happened?"

Blake rubbed her head. "I think? What were we doing again?"

Ruby blinks confused as she rubs her arm. "You were telling me about Weiss and who she was, I sneezed. And explosion of dust happened. You were caught in a small shock wave from it, and you hit your head."

Blake's eyes widen, she didn't remember this happening. "Wait, what about that strange statue?"

"Statue?" Ruby asked. "What statue?"

Blake bit her finger nail as she mumbled something to herself. "I suppose I should thank you for sticking by me until I woke...I'm Blake Belladonna."

"Ruby Rose." Ruby said with a grin. "We should get inside Beacon before the orientation starts without us."

"R-Right." Blake said. "You go on ahead...I'll catch up."

Ruby nods speeding off with her semblance, leaving rose petals behind her, once Blake saw her leave. Oyashrio appeared only visible to Blake, she still had Pyrrha's form as well.

"You did all this didn't you?" Blake asked.

Oyashiro was silent as she didn't say anything, she made herself whole as she glanced at Blake. "I told you things would be different. Call me Pyrrha from now on..."
