"So… How did it feel being dead?"
Struggling to get up off the floor, Hazel and the rest of Salem's henchmen looked at Emiya in fear. Even that nutcase Tyrian dared not utter a word after experiencing the feeling of death.
Only Salem stood facing him without backing away.
"What was that?" She seemed to lose her airs as a queen and spoke to Emiya in a more humble fashion.
"Nothing for you to worry about. Anyway, how was it being dead for real? Do you still want it?"
"I…" She hesitated with her answer as she did not know what she truly wanted. For centuries she had searched for ways to rid herself of her curse, but after experiencing what awaited her, she no longer knew how to feel.
Seeing that she was struggling to answer, Emiya decided that he didn't need her answer right away.
"Where's my room?"
====================================================
After being shown the way to his room, Emiya started taking pictures to remind himself that he need to fill this place up with cool shit.
Right now the room only had the essential items such as a bed, wardrobe and a view of all of Salem's domain.
*Knock*
*Knock*
"Come in."
Walking into the room was the pale skinned Salem.
"Is it to your liking?" She asked glancing at the room.
"Its nice, but could use a touch up." Emiya smiled.
"Touch up?"
"Yeah, like a 70 inch flat screen, a gaming console, a gaming chair, surround sound speakers, a mini fridge etc. I'll bring some back when I return in a couple of days."
"You're leaving?" Salem asked looking somewhat uncomfortable.
Seeing her act as such, Emiya wanted to tease her a little.
"Yep! Will ya miss me." He said closing the distance between the two.
"No." She immediately replied.
'Figured.'
Taking a step back, Salem shook her head and walked towards the window. Staring at the red filled sky, she spoke without turning around.
"Are your really not going to stop me?" She asked curiously. After seeing the power he wielded she had already seen him as an equal. That was before standing inside the Universal Sword Domain. Now that she had experienced his power in full, she understood that if he wanted to stop her it wouldn't take too much effort.
"*Sigh* How much times do I have to say it? Do whatever you want Sally. Just know that if I feel like it I may involve myself." Emiya answered.
"But tell me this, why do you still want the destruction of Remnant even though I could kill you and fulfil your greatest wish?"
Looking out the window she didn't answer.
"Its Ozpin isn't it?" Emiya said bitterly.
Seeing her shoulders tremble slightly he knew he had hit the nail on its head.
Taking a senzu bean out, he ate it and immediately recovered all of his lost Aura.
"I'll see you later Sally." Summoning out Yamato, he sliced the air and walked through the portal.
====================================================
By the time he returned to Beacon, night had already descended, and most students were still asleep. Having just eaten a senzu bean his stamina recovered and he wasn't feeling tired in the slightest. Deciding that he had nothing better to do, he pulled out his scroll and invited his arch nemesis to a 1v1 until he eventually fell asleep.

Afternoon the next day…
After class finished, Emiya opened up a portal to Vacuo and decided to visit the famous Shade academy.
…
…
…
Walking out of the portal, he was greeted to the sight of strong winds and a vast amount of sand that stretched as far as the eye could see.
'In hindsight I probably should have payed more attention in class before coming to a desert.'
Good thing he had the Yamato to get back to Beacon.
Pulling up his hood and bandage mask, he walked towards the north in hopes of finding some semblance of civilization. It would have been better if he knew where he was because then he could just leave and return with a map. Alas things do not always go the way we want.
Walking through the desert, he felt the wind start to pick up as multiple grains of sand blew into his face.
'Annoying.'
Looking into the distance he saw a large sand tornado heading in his direction.
"HEY WHAT ARE YOU DOING!"
A loud voice coming from behind caught his attention.
Turning towards a sand dune a bit away from him, he saw a fair skinned girl with wine red hair dressed in a blue crop vest with small pauldrons and a cream coloured skirt.
Jumping down from the dune she seemed to glide on the sand as she leaned forward and sped towards Emiya.
'Well this is interesting.'
Watching the girl approach, he finally saw her in full. She was quite the beauty, olive green eyes, brown overlapping the cream of her skirt and a wavy sword with an orange streak at her waist.
'She seems familiar.'
"WHAT ARE YOU DOING!! DON'T YOU SEE THE TORNADO!!" She yelled pointing at the oncoming tornado.
Looking at the tornado and then back to the girl, Emiya shrugged his shoulders.
'Salem threw 3 fucking tornados at me like a day ago so…'
Seeing his actions left her gobsmacked.
'Is he an idiot?'
"Come on, we have to get to the bunker before the tornado arrives!"
Grabbing him by the wrist, she ignored the fact that he seemed a bit too relaxed about the tornado.

After a bit of running, Emiya tried to strike up a conversation with the mysterious lady.
"So… Why is a beautiful girl like you rescuing complete strangers?"
Without turning her head she continued dragging him forward.
"I'm a huntress, its my job to rescue people like you who're lost in the desert." She answered.
"A huntress?"
Looking her up and down he thought that she seemed a bit to young to be a full-fledged huntress.
(A/N: Says the 14 year old junior huntsman)
Hearing the doubt in his voice she corrected herself.
"Huntress in training."
"Oh."
'That makes more sense.'
Seeing his unimpressed attitude irritated her a bit.
"Why are you wondering in the desert anyway? If I hadn't found you then you'd probably be dead by now."
'I doubt it.'
Not voicing his thoughts, Emiya answered politely.
"I'm searching for shade academy."
"Shade academy!" Surprised by his answer she stopped and looked back at him.
"Why are you going there?"
Seeing the shocked expression on her face, Emiya just shrugged like it didn't bother him.
"I have some business with the headmistress." He answered.
Just then he remembered that he'd been travelling with this girl for a while and still didn't know her name.
"Oh yeah, what's your name?"
"Me? Octavia, Octavia Ember."
