Vale, Remnant,

in the middle of the streets, we can see a young man with blond hair and blue eyes, walking around until he spotted a dust store,

"From Dust till Dawn? whatever" he mumbled and walked inside,

this was none other than Ethan, it had been a few months since he was thrown into this world and discovered many things,

after he was dropped in the city by ozpin, he had first gone to a clothing store where he stole some clothes, after that he headed straight to the public library,

it was here that he learned about Remnant, Dust, Grimm, Faunus, Aura, Semblance and many other things, at first he had thought that the Grimm was something similar to the Aragami, but soon after, he faced many Grimm in the forest, only then did he realize that they were nothing compared to even the weakest of the Aragami,

it was during one of his fights that he discovered that he had somehow attained aura and a semblance of his own, he guessed that it had something to do with how the oracle cells in his body were constantly adapting him to his surroundings, combined with the link that he shared with his god ark which devoured many things including Grimm and bandits alike, it may have adapted his body accordingly,

in the months following, he had become a renowned bounty hunter who worked as a mercenary, so much so that a tribe of bandits known to kill anyone that harms one of them had fled the moment he was anywhere near their borders,

he was called 'the Devil' by the population of vacuo because of how he had brutally killed a corrupt politician that had a bounty on his head,

of course, no one knew his face as he always made sure to wear a blank mask colored black with the Fenrir logo printed in red on it, the face of a snarling Aragami,

he had also found that his god arc, the black devil, had evolved so that it no longer required actual ammo to fire any shots, it used the energy present in the atmosphere of the planet to supply itself with limitless ammo, however, it did require dust crystals to use it's Rocket board function, this leads us to his current situation

as he walked into the store he could see the shop keeper minding his business, he walked inside the store and came to the spot that had fire dust crystals that he needed, he then spotted a girl, about 15 years of age wearing a red hood and had headphones on her head,

As he was searching the racks for high-quality crystals, he suddenly heard shouting from the counters, he turned around just in time to see the girl kick a man wearing a black suit and red shades out of the store,

Ethan sighed as he mumbled,

"i just cannot have a single normal night can i?"

he then followed the girl out of the store to see her take out her weapon, which was a scythe,

"This is where we part ways red," said the man wearing bowler had and aimed his cane-shaped gun towards the girl,

Ethan immediately used his god arc to cut the cane into two,

"When are you going to learn not to bother me torchwick?" he said in annoyance to which the now named torchwick began to panic and stuttered,

"T-The Devil? why are you here ??" he shouted to which Ethan grinned,

"This is my home"

in the last few months, Ethan had traveled the world and learned about everything he could, in his travels, he came across roman's attacks and brutally killed all of his hired men, this had made the orange-haired man fear Ethan more than even his employer,

he immediately ran to the rooftop of the nearby building and got on his bullhead,

"he's getting away!!" the girls shouted and climbed to the building top, Ethan followed her just in time to see Glynda arrive to protect the girl and deflect the shots fired by a mysterious woman in the aircraft,

just as the woman shot another fireball, a rainbow-colored polygonal shield covered Glynda and the girl and save them from the shot,

"it has been some time, Glynda," Ethan said as he walked towards the huntress who looked away from the fleeing aircraft,

"It sure has been Mr.Flame, and i see your rediculous semblance has gotten even stronger," she said to which Ethan shrugged,

Ethan had found that his semblance created a barrier of energy which consisted of countless barriers overlapping on each other, creating an unbreakable shield, he had appropriately named it as phalanx, (author notes: basically, the phalanx from mahouka koukou no rettousei)
