"I am a God Eater"

as soon as Ethan said that, Ozpin became tense and gripped his staff tightly as Glynda and Qrow became battle-ready again,

Ozpin really did not want to deal with anyone related to those two gods ever again, they always brought him nothing but trouble, just as Glynda and Qrow were about to attack Ethan, Ozpin suddenly remembered how he found Ethan in the forest and began to suspect that there was more to this 'god eater' then he first thought, he stopped Glynda and Qrow with a gesture and said,

"can you please tell me what exactly a 'God Eater' is?"

Ethan then began to tell Ozpin about the basics of his world, about the Aragami which literally translated to 'powerful deity', the Grimm equivalent in his world, and the soldiers created to fight Aragami, God Eaters

but as Ethan talked about the Aragami, Ozpin started to realize in horror that these Aragami were much more powerful than the Grimm, according to Ethan, even a medium-sized Aragami such as Kongou or Chi-You would easily crush a Wyvern or a Leviathan, the strongest Grimm known to date,

he also learned that just like Grimm, Aragami also never left behind a corpse after their death, however, unlike the Grimm that can be killed with enough force, the Aragami can only be killed with what a weapon called a God Arc,

as the four people continued to discuss the things they wanted to share, Ethan made sure to avoid mentioning about the adverse effects of being a God Eater, such as oracle cell erosion, short lifespan and the fact that sometimes, they may lose control and end up becoming aragami themselves, he also did not mention that as a God Eater child, born from two God Eaters, he was much more powerful than any other normal God Eater and had a possibility of developing a Blood Art unique to himself,

after a few hours, the meeting finally concluded,

"thank you, Ethan, for trusting us and agreeing to join us, Glynda will show you to your room, get some rest, we are going to observe the initiation tomorrow," Ozpin said to which Ethan nodded and left the room with Glynda,

soon he arrived at his room and turned in for the night as his god arc, which was leaning on the wall, started to shake but eventually stopped,

the next day,

Ozpin, Ethan and Glynda were standing on the cliffs as they watched the kids gathered for the initiation,

after giving them an intimidating speech, he turned towards the blond-haired kid from the arc family, Jaune who asked about the landing strategy, his face was hilarious when he was thrown into the air,

Ethan had met Jaune when he was taking ruby to the hall the day before, although the boy had a pure heart, Ethan soon understood that he must have either used his family name or forged his documents to get into beacon because his skills as a huntsman were nowhere near those of his fellow peers,

Ozpin then turned towards Ethan and asked,

"what do you think of the students?"

"well, Jaune would easily kill himself while facing a Beowulf, he has no fighting experience, has not unlocked his aura,but from what i have seen, has potential, ruby has a good head on her shoulders but is too inexperienced on a battlefield, the Schnee girl is way too arrogant, Nikos is all rounded and better than the most, but has a weakness that she is too kind, Lei Ren and Nora Valkyrie are a good team, Blake Belladona has great skills but is too much of a loner, and Yang is way too Gung-ho about everything, as for the rest, honestly are not up to par, especially that Cardine and his group" he said to which Glynda was dumbfounded and Ozpin showed a satisfied smirk, just from the assessment, he could tell that Ethan was a great teacher and capable of finding flaws in a single glance,

Ethan continued to watch as Pyrrah used her weapon to pin Jaune to a tree, Nora ride an Ursa, Ren fight a king taijitu, ruby and Weiss fooling around with a nevermore, Jaune unlocking his aura,

he then watched as the two teams consisting of Ruby, Weiss, Blake, Yang and Jaune, Nora, Pyrrha, Ren fought off both a Death Stalker and the Nevermore,

"well, i guess that concludes the Initiation" Ozpin said to which Ethan nodded and left to his room,
