Truth?

Tai and Glynda were surprised beyond belief, but Qrow. Qrow burst out laughing when he found out. He had such a gut wrenching laugh going on that he never notice that Logan hopped/flew over to his head. Tai went to say something but Glynda stopped him. Ozpin just watched on with a small smirk on his face. Qrow stopped laughing when he feels something 'wet' on the top of his head. He looked up to see Logan in bird form flying back to Glynda's shoulder with an all too human looking smug look. Qrow thought for a second, then proceeded to scream profanities when he realized what Logan just did.

Tai lost it when he realized what Logan did and ended up in a fit of laughter that Left him on the ground. Glynda was shocked, but thought that Qrow deserved it and a smile grace her face as she watched him run around before jumping into the sea. Logan just yawned and started to close his eyes. Ozpin just shook his head at the incident before sighing as he watched Qrow pull himself up out of the water. After pulling himself out of the water, Qrow just glared at Logan. However, it seemed as if Logan fell asleep on Glynda's shoulder. His head was tucked in to his back like any other hawk and his chest was rising and falling in a steady rhythm. Tai saw this and couldn't help but to giggle like a little school girl after taking several pictures. Tai was kind enough to send a few to Glynda and Ozpin as they both found it cute. Qrow suddenly had a wicked smile as he looked at the sleeping Logan, but lost it fast after one look from Glynda.

Ozpin got things on track with a simple cough. That was enough for everyone else to wise up. They decided they should find some place else before they talk as well. Tai quietly offered them to use his home, as Summer should be up and the girls should be asleep too. As they walked, Glynda semi floated so that she could keep Logan asleep. It didn't bother them, as they all believed that Logan earned a rest. And as they continued, the night's air chilled them to the bone and their aura helped lessen it.

Nearly an hour later, the group came upon Tai's house and there was a light on in the living room from what they could see. As they entered, Summer was there to greet them. She did well until she saw Logan in his hawk form. She squealed like a little girl at the sight of him sleeping on Glynda's shoulder. Nearly waking Ruby and Yang up and jolting awake Logan, who squawked in surprise. It took Tai a few seconds to explain to Summer what happened, after he managed to get her away from Logan. Logan had to take shelter on top of a shelf to escape her clutches. Once she realized what had happened to Logan, she apologized and asked him to come down.

Logan shook his head side-to-side fast, saying no to her. He knows how she gets with Zwei when he does something cute. And he rather not be on the receiving end of that. Logan also has lost track of how many times he's found Zwei in his room, hiding from her, when she goes overboard.

Tai, at least, understood Logan. He even went as far as sending a silent prayer to him. He loves his wife, but she can be a little hard to handle. But none the less, he married her. After talking her down, he finally got her away from Logan.

Qrow just smirked as he watched Logan's dismay. He was even thinking to help Summer catch Logan. But Glynda made sure to stop him. He just sighed and went to get himself a drink.

Ozpin and Glynda just wait quietly as they watch Tai and Summer. Logan had enough and tried to go back to sleep on the self he was on, the tiredness evident in his eyes. Ozpin could tell that what Logan did took more out of him then he let on. Glynda just had the same small amount of pink on her cheeks as she watch Logan fall asleep once again. After a while, Tai managed to get everyone but Logan into the kitchen.

Ozpin: "Well, I guess I should elaborate as to what happened to Mr Scarlett." Ozpin started off and to get everyone's attention.

Summer: "Please do." Summer said as she took a bottle of liquor from Qrow, who was about to down the entire thing.

Tai: "As far as those in this room know, only Qrow and Raven can turn into birds. And it takes magic to do that." Tai said to clear up any minor questions first. "And the only mage currently is you, Oz."

Glynda: "True. However, Logan seems to be related to something older. Possibly something to do with divinity." Glynda explained. "Maybe the 'Brother Gods'?"

Ozpin: "Well, sort of. The divinity I felt seemed... older then ether of them. But do keep in mind this. What I felt was faint, almost none-extant. I almost didn't even sense it because that pillar of fire was mainly made from magic." Ozpin said, somewhat shocking everyone present.

Summer: "How? From what Logan has told me, back in Menagerie, he was adopted by a man named Azrael." Summer said as she adopted a thinking pose. "He was found in the woods as a baby with just a blanket and a note." She said with her arms crossed, one finger on her chin and the other under her breasts. "He doesn't care about it though as he sees Azrael as his father."

Qrow: "Yea, I talked to him before. A retired Hunter that married his childhood crush who gave birth to twins." Qrow elaborated. "From what he told me, apparently his biological father had too many enemies and left him to go fight them. Nothing about his mother though." Qrow said as he shrugged his shoulders.

Ozpin: "Interesting..." Ozpin mumbled as he glanced at the doorway to the living room.

Glynda: "How did Mr Scarlett interact with others?" Glynda asked Qrow. "From your report, he just 'watched and learned'?"

Qrow: "Pretty much just that. He was never a loud child and was deftly skilled at almost everything he did. Sewing, cooking, forging, hunting, trapping, fighting. Hell, he even nearly kicked my head off when we first met." Qrow said as he remembers that day as he rubs his chin. Tai just giggled at that. "I can also confirm that he's the reason for Menagerie's sudden change. And the fact he's behind it all, by himself."

Summer: "I'm not surprised. He's extremely helpful and respectful to others that's in his good graces. Not to mention, he's got rid of several teachers that have been committing academic dishonesty and purposely failing students, both Human and Faunus, for extra money." Summer explained about Logan's history with them. "I can see him doing just that."

Tai: "Yea, his knowledge is far too vast for someone his age. Plus there are times when he seems.... I don't know?... Older? Wise beyond his years? It's hard to describe." Tai talked about his experiences with Logan.

Ozpin: "I see... Though there are several questions I would like answers to. There is one I would like to ask first at the moment." Ozpin said, grabbing everyone's attention. "But first, a guess. Logan wasn't born normally. He is like me, a being reborn to accomplish a goal set by a God. However, it wasn't one of the 'Brother Gods' that sent him. But an older and more powerful God." As Ozpin said this, they all looked at him with wide eyes. "I can only assume what the goal is, that the other God wants. But so far, Logan has been nothing but a good force, but I shudder at the thought of what his true motives are. He may want to rule the world and present it to his God. Or he may just want to help this world move forward."

Everyone had different reactions to what Ozpin said. Glynda looked thoughtful and was speculating the idea. Tai had a confused reaction when Ozpin mention another God. Qrow didn't really care and snuck the liquor bottle away from Summer as she was stunned at the thought. Summer couldn't and would not believe the boy she was fond of was related to an unknown God.

Tai: "Oz... I'm sorry, but, that's ridiculous! And coming from you no less! I mean, how can you be sure that Logan is related to a God?" Tai broke the ice, getting everyone to think. "Yes, Logan is highly skilled for his age. Yes, Logan has vast knowledge that someone his age shouldn't have. And yes, Logan should, by all means, be... I lost where I was going with this." Tai said after he lost his thought, causing nearly everyone to facepalm.

Glynda: "I hate to say it. But what Ozpin said is our most likely explanation of 'who' Logan is. And all the facts point to this as well." Glynda defended Ozpin while Qrow continued to drink, not caring, and Summer looked like she wanted to refute him. "Plus, it's not like we can ask him if its true can we? He might as well turn out to be just that; an extremely gifted child"

Ozpin: "I'm not sure. May we, Mr Scarlett?" Ozpin said, catching everyone off guard as he stare intently at the doorway to the living room.

Logan: "*Deep Sigh* You may not like what you'll hear." Logan's voice came from the door frame.

As everyone turned towards the door, Logan reviled himself. What everyone was expecting was for Logan to come flying in in his bird form or even, in his normal looks, to walk in. But what walked in caused Summer to squeal in delight and Glynda to have a very noticeable blush on her face. Logan, when he walked in, looked like he was five years old with three or four foot wings on his back. He had chubby cheeks, full eyes, and messy hair. His body had shrunk down and only had budding muscles. To top it all off, Logan had borrowed Zwei's blanket to cover himself in an toga fashion. All in all, he looked like a chibi in a toga.

Summer rushed him in a white petal burst which gobbled him up and out of the kitchen. When the two of them reappeared, Logan was wearing red shorts that fir him like pants and a blue shirt that was a little too big for him. His wings were poking out the back through two hastily cut holes. Summer sat down with him in her lap at the kitchen table with a radiant smile on her face. Logan just tiredly sighed and had everyone sit where they could while throwing a glare at Tai and Qrow who were laughing there asses off on the floor. He didn't notice that Glynda had taken a picture of him as he looked at the two of them.

Logan: "*Very Deep Sigh* Where do I even begin?" Logan asked himself out loud as Tai and Qrow got seated.

Ozpin: "Well, I for one wouldn't mind if you tell me how close I was." Ozpin asked genuinely curious.

Logan: "Fair enough, I asked for it." Logan started then took a deep breath. "For one, your quite close. I do have a relation to an God older then the 'Brother Gods', I think. But I don't know for sure." Logan started off. "As for magic, I'm not sure how to explain it really. Just one day I was trying to get a fire started; when I got some embers glowing, I felt this pull then the embers became a roaring inferno. I still felt the pull and after a bit, I realized I could control it to a degree. Once I managed to put it out, I felt as if I had learned hundreds of years worth of magic all at once." Logan told them. 'Lies, half truths, and missing information. Let's see how good you are Ozpin.' Logan thought as he looked at Ozpin.

Ozpin: "I see. Was there anything special about where you were? How was the air? How hard was the ground? The trees? Anything abnormal at all?" Ozpin asked as he opened his scroll to take notes. Glynda was copying Ozpin while Tai, Summer, and Qrow were just listening on.

Logan answered as many of Ozpin's and Glynda's questions as he could. Taking up quite a bit of time, by the time they were done the sun was just cresting the horizon. Logan eyes slowly started to droop and try as he might, Logan couldn't resist the lull of unconsciousness pull him for long. As Ozpin and Glynda were writing, Qrow nudged them then pointed to Logan. Logan had fell asleep and had used his wings as a blanket to cover him. The group decided to call it there as they could tell whatever Logan did to assume this form took a lot out of him. Silently, they all left the kitchen, all intent to talk another day.
