"Boss.."Kyle called out.

"Any information about the backer?"

"According to our sources, There was no James Li... We could only find Li corporation?"

"And the name of the CEO?"

"His name wasn't out and it seemed to not have appeared on any newspaper"

He never knew that it would still be difficult finding the strong backer of Luke, despite having a clue, it seemed whoever was after him lived in shadows,Most importantly he couldn't risk Mia's life with his.

The feeling of Mia getting hurt was driving him crazy.

"Yes Boss"

"Update me if anything seems suspicious"He reminded, before gesturing him to leave.

"Yes Boss" Kyle replied before leaving President Yang to himself.

"James Li...." He mumured.

"Sir, Here are the files" His assistant said.

"Place them on the table"

"Yes Sir" He was about to leave when he heard his boss call his name.

"Sam?"

"Yes Boss?" He looked at his boss eyeing him suspiciously.

"It's nothing, you can leave" His boss replied.

He was sure his boss was about to say something but decided against it.

"Okay Sir." He said as he left President Yang's office.

Alexander glanced through his cellphone as he saw Mia's number, he pressed the call button, after ringing for a several times before it was picked. None of them chose to talk first as they heard each other's breathing at the end of the phone

"Let's meet at the civil affairs bureau... I'll send the location " Alexander broke the silence.

"Okay.."She responded. Then another round of silence was heard.

"Why was it this awkward between them?"

"I'll see you"Alexander once again broke the silence before ending the call. As he said, he sent her the location of the civil affairs bureau, then he got out of his office when he called out for his assistant

"Yes boss?"

"I'll be back"

"Okay Boss " He responded before watching his boss walk into his private elevator,which led to his private parking lot.

**Civil Affairs Bureau

Alexander soon arrived at the civil affairs bureau,he graciously got out of his car as he elegantly stood near his car with his hands dipped in his pant pocket.

It's been five minutes

"Where was she?"

About a minute, he spotted her as she walked closer to him.

He was ever this attractive .

Mia commented within seeing Alex's figure.She took a step closer to him, he had noticed her coming so he faced her direction when their eyes met.Time Seemed to Stop.

"Let's get going" Alex said as he broke the eye contact, before taking her hand in his.Mia felt a surge of electricity pass through her as his hand entangled hers.

"Uhm" She replied.They entered the Civil Affairs bureau Affairs office.

"Welcome Sir and Young lady, would you like to register your marriage?" The marriage registrar said as his eyes never seemed to leave Mia, in which Alex noticed.

So he was sir? and Mia was Young Lady? Was he nuts?

Alex couldn't help but think as he glared at the registrar

"Yes" Mia replied curtly.

"Are you here to register our marriage or eye-rape at my woman?" Alex growled in annoyance,making Mia look up to him, of course she noticed the man staring at her but she never expected Alex reaction and his possessiveness.

"Of course,it takes a matter of to gouge out your eyes"He said playfully but he was God damn serious. Making the marriage registrar retract his eyes from Mia.

What an over possessive man

"You can both sign here" The registrar seemed to have sensed his annoyance and soon finished the procedures.

He could feel Alex glares targeted at him but couldn't help but shiver.

"Was this woman crazy? Who on earth would want to marry a man makes people intimidated by his presence?"

He prayed never to have a son like this.

Sensing the registrar plight, Mia rubbed her palms on Alex's hand, she couldn't understand why she did so, but she didn't want him to be affected by his mood,Alex look at her surprised by her initiative, sensing his looks,she pretended to be unaware of the situation.

They both signed the marriage certificate.

"You are now married" The registrar announced.

"Anything else?" Alex asked impatiently.

"You can kiss your wife?"The registrar said more like a question to avoid offending this man.

"I see" Alex said before pulling Mia into his embrace as he smashed his lips on hers, How he missed the taste of her lips.Mia who never expected Alex's Kiss widened her eyes in surprise and before she knew it, his lips have left hers.

Since the School Reunion incidence, how he itched to savor those lips of hers.

"Your marriage certificate "The registrar said as he handed it over to them. Mia collected it as Alex seemed uninterested in collecting it, at least it was known to them that they were married.

They soon walked out of the Civil Affairs Bureau.

"I'll get going" Mia said as she heaved a sigh.

"I'll take you home"

"I could go alone, you still seem busy" She said noticing he was still on his business attire as he ended his phone call.

"Get in the car"He announced.

"Mia?" He called, his eyes telling her he was running out of patience,Like a gentleman he opened the door for her,she got into the front seat as she held the marriage certificate in her hands before she heard him close the door before he entered into the driver's seat.

"Pack your things, I'll come pick you when I'm done from work" he announced as he ignited the engine. Of course she knew they were now married and it would be inappropriate to live in different house.

"Okay" She said as she kept on looking at the marriage certificate.

Her life had changed within two days. She was now married to the god of the business world who was nicknamed devil.

She look at his face as he was driving, she felt happy within, to have gotten married to an attractive man.

At young age, she fantasized on getting married to a Prince-Charming.

Now it seemed the great President Yang was her Prince-Charming.
