Waking up to the outshining sun, Only for Mia to raise her hands in an attempt of covering the sun's rays it seemed to her that she slept earlier than expected the previous day as she had even forgotten to close the window blinds.

"Ughh" She let out a sigh of frustration as she climbed down her bed into the bathroom with a slight headache. She had to freshen up, eat breakfast and do all her chores Not to forget.

Today was their School Reunion and it Probably Might be a memorable day for her as she was quite sure that Laura was up to something no good.

She mentioned President Yang. Could it be about Alexander? she thought hopefully to find some clues of what was going on in that perverted mind of Laura's.

She freshened up and went ahead to start preparing to eat, opening the refrigerator, she could only find eggs and tomatoes.

Life was cruel to her

she decided to make omelets to eat as breakfast, she wasn't a picky eater so she needed not worry about any after-math effect.

"So..?" Alex questioned giving Carlos a suspicious glare.

"Come to the charisma hotel, I've got something to talk to you about"

"And what about your School Reunion and that girlfriend of yours"

That was it. Alex decided to strike as the iron was still hot.

"She's just a friend," Carlos said chuckling at Alex's reasoning.

It was close to nighttime

The night sky was aglow with the bright city lights, with the gradual appearance of the pale crescent moon like a silvery claw in the night sky.

The light from the charisma hotel club and hall emitted a party aura as past students of the John Harris high school walked into the hall with blissful expressions.

Of course, The drop-dead gorgeous man, President Yang had entered the hotel long before to meet his ever-cheerful and excited friend, Young Master Carlos.

Mia on the other hand had no choice but to wear the clothing given to her by Laura, One thing she hated most was to have any argument or rift with Laura, She vividly remembered those days, most especially her high school days, the day's Laura will always stay by her and wouldn't think twice to start a fight for her sake.

Laura was by her side every time and day, she was her backbone and more than a family to her. After her mother died from the schemes of her dad's mistress and step-sister, Heline, it has always been Laura supporting her. She had been ruined by her love and trust for her father and stepsister, making her blinded by their so-called love.

Of course, people were different, we all have different personalities. One way or the other Laura thought that Life wasn't as cruel as it seems to be. It was full of risks and without those risks, life wouldn't be interesting. Or will it?

Having no person to betray you and just living as you are making life full of boredom.

But who would have thought the gullible Mia was now an outspoken person with a bouncy personality?

It was true she couldn't have a good family but why would she make that affect her future?

Who would have thought she was capable of fulfilling her dreams?

Yes!!! Her mother was there but unfortunately, she kicked the bucket leaving her in the cruel world.

The saying that Two heads were better than one was indeed true.

Life doesn't make sense without interdependence and the sooner we learn that the better for us.

Where would she have been without Laura? If her wearing the clothing would bring a contented smile to Laura, Then Why Not?

"Wow!!!! You look graceful and captivating, absolutely sexy and appealing even without makeup "The excited voice of Laura was heard snapping Mia out of her thoughts. It seemed she had been distracted to notice Laura walking up to her.

Hearing Laura, Mia flashed an awkward smile to her best friend whose moth kept praising her.

"You also look hot "Mia couldn't help but say when she noticed Laura wearing a dress somehow similar to hers.

"Let's get going," Laura said, As they both entered her car.

Soon enough, they reached the charisma hall, next to the charisma hall was the charisma hotel and club.

It seemed Carlos made it big.

The loud music resounded in their ears as they entered the hall.

"Wow!!! You both look stunning "Beauty, one of their previous classmates reacted.

And Laura and Mia flashed a smile after mouthing a thank you.

The party soon started.

There were enough drinks and food, more to talk of it the DJ led the dance party with songs from their graduation year.

Games like: Name tag hunt, Cocktail Hour, Jog that Memory, and the Melody Match were played.

Kingsley, who was the CEO of the Skye corporation was present, of course, he was a student of John Harris highschool. Carlos also was present, leaving Alex to himself at the hotel.

"Hey," Carlos said as he approached Laura, seeing that Carlos wanted to talk to Laura, Mia excused herself to the bar counter not after she greeted him. Despite her low alcohol tolerance she still felt tempted to drink the fruit wine in front of her.

"Mia?"Kingsley called"Hi... It's been a long time. President Skye" Mia said flashing him a smile.

"Do you mind dancing with me"

"Maybe next time, I am fatigued"

"Then you'll have to fulfill any of my favorite"

The loud music kept on playing as they kept on enjoying and making memories of this long-term togetherness moment as Mia kept savoring herself with the highly alcoholic fruit wine despite reaching her limit, Of course, Carlos had left to meet the impatience, President Yang.

Soon the reunion came to an end and people started to leave those who booked a room in the hotel went to their lodge.

Laura took the over-drunk Mia into her lodge after collecting the card to open the door to the lodge before she left for hers.

Slightly uncomfortable with her heels she kicked them away which immediately removed them from her legs, making a sound.
