"Ready for an ideal wife duties?"Alex said sarcastically as he watched his wife,Mia,who entered his office with a lunch box.

"Mother sent me to give you as u didn't have breakfast"Mia said as she placed the lunch box on the table.

Alex glanced at her shortly before returning his attention back to the files.

"It's warm now, Eat before it get colds"She said but got no reply from him, she was about to leave when she heard his voice once again.

"I never knew you were ready to be known to the world as my wife"He stood up from his seat,his hands dipped In his pocket as he walked closer to her

"Right?"He whispered in her ears as he covered the gap between them.

"Y..You"She stammered.

"Answer!!" He said curtly, obviously knowing his closeness was having an effect on her.

"Move away from me first"She negotiated

"Why?Am I affecting you that much?"He said teasingly as a devilish smirk hung on his lips as he moved closer to her, their nose was now in contact.

"A...Alex"Just then the office door opened,Making Mia flush red.

"Si..r"The words of his assistant was cut short as his eyes met with the scene before him.

"It seems this was a wrong timing" he scolded himself.

"Speak" Alex said impatiently unwilling to move from his position.

"The share holders meeting is in 30 minutes time"The assistant said.

"Wasn't this his lunch break?"Mia questioned herself as she stared at Alex. Oblivious of the fact that President Yang doesn't fancy lunch break.

"Reschedule it to an hour time" He instructed before signalling his assistant to leave.

"Alex I'll get going"

"I'm not done yet" He said, pulling her closer to him.

"A..lex" she whispered as she felt his breath on her face.

"mhm?"

"I didn't post the marriage certificate and why would I?Yes! It is true it was posted using my previous account but why gave you the certainty that I posted it, looking at you I'm sure you very well know I'm not behind this. Do you loose your intelligence and rationality due to skipping meals? What do you think uh!

That I assigned people to take pictures of us signing the marriage certificate and even kissing.

Have you lost it!" She scolded him angrily her eyes staring fixedly at him.

"What a crazy man!"Her subconscious reasoned.

Hailing a cab,she soon reached her office.

"The manager called for you"Elsa said rolling her eyes at her.

All can't be your friends but all can be your enemies, this was Mia's situation.

"Sir,you called for me"She said getting to the managers office.

"Yes,Have a sit" The manager said as a smile hung on his lips.

"It seems the news had really affected your manager,What a weird man!"Her subconscious snapped.

"There is going to be a business party in a week time, inform your peers and get your team and cameras ready .As you very well know the Skye media corporation has acquired our company "

"Yes sir"

"You can go"The manager said and she left his office.

"Hey man" Carlos entered.

"This early?"

"I never expected someone's marriage certificate going viral"Carlos chipped in"That?"President Yang was such a vibe killer.

"Mhm"Carlos said as he decided to read out some comments.

Carlos bursted into a fit of laughter before he asked a shocking question but who was President Yang to give a direct reply?

"Did you really end being celibate,You know what I mean"Carlos teased

"Looking at you, it seems you are still celibate"Carlos let out a laughter seeing Alex's change of expression .

Alex decided to leave as the share holders meeting was about to start when he once again heard Carlos

"Wow! It seems our wife brought our breakfast "Carlos exclaimed excitedly as he moved to get a hold of it.Alex had forgotten about the lunch box brought by his wife but soon remembered hearing Carlos.Before Carlos could reach it,he took it as he sat gracefully to finish it's content leaving his best friend pouting.

"Sir, it's time" The assistant was in for another surprise seeing President Yang eating. Since he had known Alexander Yang,he could boldly say this was the first time he had seen him eating.

"Mhm... Let's go" President Yang said as his lips curled up in satisfaction seeing Alex's sullen mood.
