Runt Of The Litter

Beowulf was of an abnormal size -- he was way smaller than all his siblings and members of their pack-- at least that was what his father thought. As alpha of the Sandulf Pack, Saku Sandulf, sidelined and ostracized Beowulf and his twin sister Salome, making them lonely souls. How would the iron-fisted Saku Sandulf take it when his children start to mix with the humans that he had warned them strictly against? How would he react when he learns that his son's mate is a mere human? It was something unheard of -- a human as a mate. What would happen to the precious Sandulf Pack when betrayal sprouts from within the giant wolves' midst? What would happen between the werewolves and the humans when the proud and haughty sole heir to the human kingdom falls in love with one of the forbidden creatures?

All At The Same Time

Scribner swallowed and blinked his eyes. He wasn't really looking at the injury and was solely concentrated on the princess's arm that was in his hands, totally oblivious to anyone else that was in the room with them. The only person that he could see, the only person that he was focused on was the princess.

Yuri didn't even notice what was happening and she kept waiting for Scribner to be done with what he was checking out. She needed to be out of that place as her mind was beginning to swirl with plans to go on a long walk that evening. She wanted some alone time to herself and needed to think about what she would do to win her father's support. Yuri didn't want to go on that heir tour next month and she needed her father on board with her.

"I was so scared about the poison," Scribner said. "We have Tomas Morgan to thank for this and you too, Princess... you are one strong lady," Scribner said with such admiration in his voice and his eyes.
