Hold up!

Did Ezra and her mom know each other personally? That had to be it. There was some hidden secret in the midst of it all that she didn't know about. She tossed a brute a scathing look. There was no way he would tell her. 

"Well, your mother isn't an administrator here. And it's a school project. My exhibition must be perfect. You both get an F for today's idea projection activity." 

They stared at him blankly. 

"And you two will be working on a Beauty and the Beast project. Retell the story with whatever art you wish."

"Look, Mr Kevin-"

"And also you have two hours of community service, starting now. That's punishment for flunking your assignments." He added with a smile. 

"What?" Cleo screeched utterly mortified. 

"Can it be tomorrow? I have work." Ezra protested drily.
