She looked around, probably searching for him, which was fruitless as from where he sat, it was impossible to spot him. He knew she trusted him too much, and that was why he was able to catch her in his hook. Grabbing her purse from the table, she stood up and after sighing in resignation, walked out to her car and zoomed off. 

Eureka! He had gotten what he needed and even his conscience couldn't stop him now. " Pandora, watch how I'll ruin your whole life," he muttered under his breath, as the shot of scotch went flying down his throat. Taking one long look at her receding car, he paid for his drinks and left.

Pandora woke up feeling weak. Ever since that dinner date with Ethan two nights ago, she felt empty and exhausted. She couldn't believe she had dozed off on that date with Ethan. The last thing she remembered before the nap was him standing up to embrace her. Hmm… if only she knew!
