'I see you.' She read in the book and Hannah looked around to see if anyone was watching her. There was no one in the room except for her.
She placed the book down and opened the door looking everywhere. She climbed the stairs back to the last floor and saw a writing on the wall next to a door.
'I'm in here.'
Hannah took a deep breath before opening the room. It was anold room with furniture's which had dust on them. The room was dark.
She walked to the window and put the curtain at the side. Her eyes caught the attention of the dusty box on top of the cupboard. She knelt down before opening the box and when the box opened she saw the picture of the same young girl holding a doll.
Who was this girl? Hannah thought to herself. She dropped the picture and looked around the room to find anything else.
PAK
Her head snapped to the picture that slammed itself onto the ground. Hannah picked the picture and placed it on the box but it fell again.
She gasped with widened eyes before putting the picture inside the box. She locked it and placed it back in the cupboard.
Without waiting any longer, she opened the door and went back to the room gasping for air.
Nina entered inside the room and stared at Hannah.
"Is everything alright?" Nina asked.
"I'm fine." Hannah replied and lay on the bed. Her head snapped to the photo frame on the wall and she looked away in fear.
"Well, one of the Nuns died last night. Such a tragic death." Nina shook her head. "Rumour has it that she died in her sleep."
"And you believed it?" Hannah asked. "I do not think she died while sleeping."
"I don't know of that but she was given a decent burial today. Her soul would rest in peace." Nina went to the bathroom to wash her face.
Looking inside the mirror, she saw the reflection of Lucifer. She took a step backward with her hand in her chest. Blinking twice, the reflection disappeared and she hurried out of the bathroom without washing her face.
"Is something wrong?" Hannah stood up.
"I.... S...saw Lucifer." Nina held her chest.
"You already said the wedding vows with him. Do you think you can run away from him forever?" Hannah questioned.
"I... I will speak to Father Daniel about it." Nina said before leaving the room.
In the middle of the night when the Nuns were saying their mid night prayers, Hannah stood up from bed. She could not sleep.
As she walked around the room thinking of what happened in the afternoon, her eyes landed on the photo frame and she saw the young girl's eyes glow up.
When she walked closer, it stopped glowing and Hannah gasped with fear. She went back to the book to see if the same writing would be there but it wasn't.
She lit the lantern up and read the book from start to end with fear. The book stated on how the priest built the church with the blood of his wife and only daughter.
It was the priest who wrote the book and he stated that he did not regret anything he did.
She dropped the book and opened the door before walking upstairs back to the room. As she was about to open the box, she heard the clicking of the door. Turning her head to the door, she saw Nina standing there.
"What are you doing here?" Hannah asked.
"I should be asking you the same question. Why are you here?" Nina questioned.
"Are you trying to acquire dark powers from Talon?" Nina tilted her head.
"What are—"
"It's the truth. Why are you in here?" Nina asked.
"I saw—"
"We should leave now." Nina snapped. She did not like that her friend was in the dark room alone. What if Talon came here and tries to possess her again?
PAK
Nina snapped her head to the box which fell on it's own. Her eyes widened with fear. "We shouldn't be in here. Let's go."
"No." Hannah shook her head.
"Then I'm leaving. Father Daniel would not be happy with you in here. I'm done with my prayers, goodnight." She opened the door and left the room.
Hannah looked around the place and found a book with dust. The book was locked and she picked the small key on the cupboard and used it to open it.
The book had dust on it.
'Dear diary I woke up with blood on my body today and I know it wasn't from my period. I feel so ashamed to say this to my mum that my—"
Hannah flipped to the other page.
'Today Dad killed mum and forced me to eat my own poop.'
Hannah gasped and dropped the book on the floor. Taking several steps backward, she heard voices in the room.
She turned around but there was no one there.
"Hello?" Hannah said looking around.
"Hi." She heard the voice of a child and turned around to see the young girl in the picture standing back facing her.
"What happened to you?" Hannah asked. "I.... I thought you died."
"Yeah. But I came back for—"
"For what?" Hannah asked.
"TO KILL YOU ALL!" The girl turned her head to face Hannah and her eyes widened to see how the face turned into a monster.
As she was about to leave the room, she stepped on her cloth and fell down.
Meanwhile as Nina stepped out of the room downstairs she saw herself in hell hearing the screams of people.
