Running from Lucifer

All it took was for her to kill Lucifer which she didn’t want to because he was her biggest nightmare. She was the abused demon girl, he was Lucifer whose very whisper of name was enough to put fear in the people’s mind. After Nina’s parents got killed by some demons, they took her away and trained her as a weapon to take down Lucifer. But her plan is quick to destroy when she was set up by the Elder demons to be Lucifer’s arranged bride. Chaos and challenges would arose as both persons are great rivals. ...Lucifer watched as Nina shook her body profusely on the bed. She has been unconscious for a month now and he was afraid that if he wake up her memory would wipe completely. The only people who could help her now was the Angels. Picking up the dagger from the table, he cut his palm open “I SACRIFICE MY BLOOD TO ANGELS UP IN THE SKY. I ASK TO SUMMON THE ANGEL, GABRIEL, IN HEAVEN. I CALL YE THEE NOW!” Immediately as the words left his mouth, wind swept passed them. It swirled faster and harder almost sweeping Lucifer from ground. After about five minutes later, Gabriel appeared. Standing in it’s place was the leader of Archangels, Gabriel. “How dare you try to summon me even after what happened between us years ago?” Gabriel was fuming with anger. “It’s my wife. She’s hurt and only you can help her.” Lucifer rushed to Nina’s side. “Why do you think I would help you. Do you think I would easily forget what happened between us years ago?” Gabriel closed the distance between them. “How you pushed me from heaven and took away my powers. Listen we can discuss that later but my wife is in danger.” Gabriel observed Nina carefully. “What happened to her?” “There is this man named Talon who has been trying to kill her. Even when I tried to kill him, he hid himself from me completely. Please help her.” Lucifer was surprised at himself that he was the one begging. He was always the prideful Angel. Gabriel studied her from head to toe. He closed his eyes and when he opened them it was completely white. His iris was gone. “The only way is either she kills him herself or, Kira, her daughter enters her mind and kill him completely” Gabriel declared.

Betrayal

#Previously...

When Talon's body turned into ashes, the ashes disappeared into thin air and he saw his soul the land of nowhere.

When his soul reached a big gate, he read the post which stared, "Welcome to the land of the dead."

He was dead, Nina killed him. The gates were opened waiting for him to come inside. The place was quiet with no human in there. He pinched himself wanting to wake up from this horrible nightmare.

The place was cold enough to send shivers down his spine. Talon had never felt this kind of cold as his whole life has been in the demon house. He sighted an Owl which sat down at the top of the gate with darting eyes.

He missed Nina so much and it is a pity he didn't get to profess his feelings for her before he died.

"Talon." He heard a voice and he snapped his head to the direction of the voice but there was no one there. He looked for the person hoping that he was not the only one here.

When he didn't see anybody, he turned his gaze back to the gate. From there, he saw the creature who took his body walk through the gates. He took cautious steps backwards but the creature was following him. The loud footsteps of the creature was causing the ground to vibrate.

"What do you want?" Talon stopped walking to see the creature also stop.

"I have been waiting for you here," the creature said. The creature was ten times bigger than him.

"Who are you?" Talon questioned.

"I already told you who I am. Do you still want me to repeat myself?" From where the creature stood, darkness emitted from behind causing shivers in Talon's body.

"I gave you life when you died. I have been waiting for this day when the both of us would join hands and destroy the underworld." His voice was loud causing thunder striking from the sky.

Talon wanted to run away far from the creature but he didn't know which direction to follow. When he stretched his hand to use his powers it didn't work. His powers was gone.

"I told you your powers would not work on me because we need each other." The creature took a step forward and Talon took two steps backward.

"Give me your soul willingly and together we'll destroy the world."

Running was the only solution left for Talon so he started running. Seeing Talon running away, the creature followed him. Each steps the creature took caused Talon to lose balance.

"You can't run away from me!" The creature howled. "We're one!"

The creature was getting more angrier with each steps Talon took.

Talon ran and ran until he reached another gate which read 'Welcome to the land of the dead.'

When he looked back and saw the creature walking towards him, he tried to walk inside the gate but was pushed by a forceful wind. He fell with so much force onto the ground that blood began oozing from the side of his head.

Talon could barely keep his eyes opened as they closed and open every second. When he regained his consciousness he saw the creature in front of him.

He screamed for help but there was no one to help him.

"You can't run away from me because we're one." The creature laughed at the end.

Slowly, Talon began to crawl away from him but with a flick of finger from the creature he landed on the ground again. This time his face was bleeding profusely.

"I just want to be with Nina and spend the remaining days of my life with her," Talon mumbled and the creature laughed.

"Love! Love! Love! How foolish all of you to believe in love. Demons are meant to destroy and nothing more than that," the creature said.

"Why do you want me? You can chose another demon who would accept you in his body gladly," Talon asked.

"You see five thousand years ago I was cast from the face of heaven by the love of my life. She was an Angel but she betrayed me and casted my soul into this empty stuff." The creature pointed at the roots of tree in his body. "All I want now is revenge. Both in the underworld and heaven and I want you to join me."

A small tear escaped from Talon's eyes when he remembered Nina. How would she be doing now? Did the demons killed her? Or did she agreed with them to kill Lucifer?

This whole stuff of the demons taking revenge on one another was making Talon confused and annoyed.

"Take me back to her." Talon demanded.

"Her?" The creature scoffed. "You mean Nina? Well you should see for yourself."

The creature made a round ball. "Look inside the ball."

Inside the ball, Talon could see bunch of people gathered in a hall. They all turned around to see a small figure walked inside the hall with a veil covering her face. The person inside the veil looked so familiar in Talon's eyes but he could not figure out where he had seen the person.

Slowly she walked to the front and stood with a man whom Talon recognized as Lucifer.

Lucifer was getting married? To who?

"How does this have to do with me?" Talon asked.

"Watch carefully."

Lucifer removed the woman's veil and when Talon recognized the girl, he fainted. The round ball burst in the creature's hand.

When Talon opened his eyes he was more annoyed. She betrayed him and married the man they were supposed to kill. Anger, betrayal and sadness washed through his eyes.

"You see this. No one cares about you or what you do."

"Let me inside your body and we'll take revenge on everyone of them!" The creature roared.

The small nod Talon gave him was enough for the creature to enter his body. He casted Talon's soul inside the land of dead and he took over his body.
