Seven months have passed, we were driving to the warehouse after months of hiding out; we walked in the front door, Makayla came up

"Dang boss, we didn't know you were pregnant."

I ignored her and walked to the backroom

"Did you take care of the Shadows?"

Nathan turned around

"We attacked but it didn't go as planned boss."

Connor crossed his arms

"And why not? We gave an order and expect it done."

Johnny walked in

"We captured three of them, oh! Boss hey, how are you?"

I turned around

"No one is asking how are you here, I'm seven months pregnant and I asked one simple thing, kill off the Shadows."

He began to stutter

"Boss... w-we caught t-three o-of them l-last n-night."

Connor cut in

"She didn't want three of them, she wanted them dead."

He nodded his head

"Yes sir."

I started to feel lightheaded, I sat down in the computer chair

"Your son is killing me, should be a fact that boys are more difficult before they are even born."

Lonnie came in

"We just attacked the Shadows, some got away but most of them are dead."

Connor crossed his arms

"Get my brothers?"

Lonnie nodded

"They are in the barn with your dad."

Connor stood up from leaning against the desk

"Good, we can have some fun."

I stood up and followed Connor out back; we opened the barn door, Tyler, Derek and Connor's dad were tied up and gagged on the floor covered in hay. I looked at Connor

"Why do you want to hurt them? They are family."

He stared hard at his dad

"Because they hurt you and abused you Kayla."

I shrugged my shoulders

"Kay let's have some fun."

I pulled out a knife from the drawer

"I could live with this, I mean they did cut me, torture me, smack me around."

Connor kneeled down and pulled off the rags they were gagged with, his dad yelled

"What the hell are you doing?"

Connor grasped his dad's jaw hard

"Something that should've been done when you touched my wife."

Derek shouted

"We protected her while you were supposed to be dead!"

I handed him the knife, Connor slashed a gash in Derek's cheek

"That's why you were trying to have her yourself? You lied to her! You tried to use her for this disgusting business."

Tyler said

"I helped you man, I don't know why I'm tied up! I helped you hide her when everyone was after her!"

Derek made a comment about my pregnancy

"Just can't stop having kids can you, you should get fixed like a fucking dog!"

Connor backhanded him to the point where he fell backwards

"Shut the fuck up!"

I stepped forward

"Babe? May I?"

He handed me the knife and I stabbed it into his thigh, he yelled in pain

"Do I look like a fucking animal to you?"

Connor's dad yelled

"Just kill us! Wouldn't be the first time you betrayed us, you chose a whore over your family."

I laughed

"And you're the son of bitch that killed my father!"

I kicked him in the ribcage, he started coughing; he tried to stop coughing

"Just... like dad..daddy, just like I told you Connor; won't be long before she turns on you too."

Connor pulled him up by his shirt

"Just watch father, I'm going to let her kill you for everything you caused her and her family."

Derek laughed

"You don't actually believe this skank was innocent? Who killed our mother Connor? She didn't just pass away like you want to believe."

I pulled up a gun and loaded it

"I'm done having fun, I'm seven months pregnant and so done with this shit."

I pulled the trigger at Derek's and Connor's dad head. As the bullet hit, blood spurted everywhere and their lifeless bodies hit the hay. Tyler begged for his life, he was innocent; he helped Connor at the worst times but his dad and Derek couldn't know he betrayed them too. I helped him up and untied him

"Don't cross us, you've been helpful too much to kill."

He hugged Connor and me

"I won't cross either of you, I swear."

We went back to our house with the girls and lived peacefully without worrying about other gangs attacking us. The next two months were hell for me, I felt weaker, I got sick a lot more; it was bad enough we had to get our own personal nurse. One night Connor and I were sleeping when I started having contractions, I shook him awake

"Connor! Wake up! This isn't a false alarm this time."

He jumped out of bed and called for our nurse, Penelope; she rushed upstairs with the monitors and equipment needed. Almost 10 hours I had contractions, as they got worse I felt weak and tired; before we knew it the easy part was here; I used every energy I had left to push him out; Connor held onto my hand and rubbed my head, he looked at Penelope

"She's going pale."

She looked up and shouted

"Her heart rate and oxygen are dropping, get the oxygen mask."

He grabbed the mask and put it on me, he started to panic

"Stay with me, he's almost here."

Just as Connor heard our son, Hunter crying and screaming; he saw my eyes shut and the monitor started to beat rapidly. Penelope wrapped him up and handed him to Connor, she started doing chest compressions and cpr but nothing. After about 10 minutes she stopped

"She's gone, I'm sorry."

Connor's eyes filled with tears

"What happened?"

She frowned

"Her body couldn't handle it dear, I'm sorry."

I opened my eyes to a bright glowing light, I started walking towards it; I saw them all. My dad, my mom, my best friend, Devon. They were all there waiting for me to come home. I'm finally home where I belonged.
