Chapter 1 : The Ritual

Ten individuals stand in a large Colosseum-like building in the center of it.

While all seven of them appeared to be soldiers based on their uniforms, the other three appeared to be wealthy individuals.

"You may begin the ceremony, Saintess Maisha." A man in his forties speaks to a gorgeous woman dressed in white Saintess attire, murmuring something while staring at a round circle painted in the center.

She began the sacred ceremony by hearing the man's remarks.

The guy who spoke with the saintess then tells the troops to back off a little, while on the opposite side of the saintess stands a girl with white hair in a crimson full dress, looking at everything silently and with expectancy.

Suddenly, a deep white emerged from the circle and rocketed up into the sky, making it difficult to see what was going on.

The saintess then touched the light with her delicate fingers and muttered something.

The light ceased streaming from the circle as the chanting concluded.

The girl and the elderly man approach to see what the outcome was.

They discovered one woman with blue hair who was nude and unconscious on the floor, as well as another people who looked to be male and was also naked and asleep.

"Saintess!!" Soldiers Rush as Saintess fainted after spending mana.

The girl and man examined the saintess and instructed the troops to bring her to the palace and treat her kindly. They also instructed them to bring these important individuals, referring to the nude girl and kid, to the palace with the utmost dignity.

Inside a large, elegant room, on a bed, slept the boy and girl who had just been brought into the castle, with a girl named Beatrice looking at them and a maid by her.

"What is the saintess up to?"

"She's doing great after a little nap." 'Miss Beatrice,'

"What did the alchemist have to say? How long do you think it would take them to wake up?"

"He informed them that the "Nafir" ritual had cost them a lot of energy. That is why we should give them as much rest as possible." Her expression stiffened after hearing this, she said.

"Shitt, But we don't have much time, and the political pressure will be too strong if we don't wake them up soon. My entire endeavor will be futile." Beatrice approached the couple. She glanced at the sleeping boy as she placed her hands on his chest and began shaking his body.

"Can you hear what I'm saying? Would you please wake up?" She yelled.

"What are you doing, Princess?" When the maid noticed this, she said.

"Can't you see yourself I'm waking him up?" She returns the maid's glare to silence her.

"B-but.... as you desire, princess," the maid said as she walked away.

The shaking continues for many minutes, but the youngster does not open his eyes, which infuriated Beatrice even more as she returned her gaze to the maid and instructed her.

"Bring me a knife, please."

The maid was astonished by the girl's command, but she realized she couldn't calm her down, so she just brought a knife, which was put in the fruit basket near the desk directly opposite the bed, and presented it to the girl.

As Beatrice took the knife in her hand, she made a small cut on the kid's hand, causing the youngster to knit his brows in misery as blood flowed from the wound.

Then She went out of bed and sat exactly next to a sofa facing the boy and the girl, putting the knife near a desk.

"Right now," she says.

The boy on the bed abruptly opens his eyes and cries in agony.

"Heal him," Beatrice said to the maid as she performed a charm on the kid in anguish.

The white healing light that came into touch with the boy's body disintegrated into small particles, leaving an afterglow.

The boy slowly wakes from his slumber and sits in bed, staring at Beatrice with wonder, shock, and wrath.

"Who are you and why am I here and not in my house to answer you now?" He stated it in a deep tone that caused Beatrice's brows to furrow.

"Please allow me to introduce myself." My name is Beatrice, Princess of the Great Kingdom of Metriamia, and you have been appointed as its ruler. "I humbly greet you." Beatrice bows to the boy, who is perplexed by everything that has happened.

"I must be hallucinating." Yes, I'm certain of that. So, bye, I'm going to bed. In the morning, I have college." He re-draped himself in the blanket and retired to his bed.

Beatrice and the maid come to a halt.

"Hey, why am I not sleeping?"

Beatrice responds angrily.

"Because you're not dreaming; this is reality."

"Don't you think you're kidding too much, and you expect me to believe that a gorgeous lady like you, a princess on top of that, who I can't even comprehend, is bowing to me and telling me I'm going to be the ruler of a kingdom?" As was clear, the boy stated.

Beatrice put her palm on her brow as she stared at the youngster she listened to his statements.

"Listen, deluded boy, I'm not kidding you. I'm telling the truth, and you should believe me. I don't have time to squander. Please allow me to clarify. We summoned you to our world using a summoning spell to save our kingdom from destruction. So stop resisting what is in front of you and start accepting it."

A gorgeous female in a traditional red gown stood in front of me, gazing at me fiercely, and said, "I was sent here from my planet.

Which means I'm iskeaid. Does that excite me Well, yes it does? But it was all ruined when I heard about ruling a kingdom. I'm a simple college student who was about to get a job and live a peaceful life, but here I'm iseka'd and getting the burden of carrying a kingdom on my shoulders. No thank you.

''I suppose you're correct, but I don't want to run this kingdom or whatever you're referring to. I just want to live a calm life. The maid and the girl in the crimson robe, both looked at me, perplexed.

"We certainly cannot send you back to your world, and we cannot let you leave," the girl yelled, her face flushed with rage. ''If you wish to exist in this world, you must labor for this kingdom."

''Let's assume I work for you to govern the kingdom, but then what? Can't you understand that I'm from another universe where citizens like me, aren't taught things like how to lead a country? "Tell me how I could rule this kingdom when I know nothing about royalty in the first place."

My words have prompted the girl to worry as she whispers something into the maid's ear.

"No matter what you say, it will not change my mind about making you ruler of this kingdom." Do you want to know why I'm so sure of myself? It's because the summoning magic we used to fetch both of you was created by the goddess Aisha, and it's stated that when it's employed, it brings forth the most capable individual. So you're not getting out of here. " She finished her remarks with a big smile, which made me blush.

"Humm... Okay, I get it for the time being, but you said something like, "Both of you, aren't I the only one summoned, or is there someone else besides me?"

"Look at your left side," the girl whispered as I turned to look at my left side, where a gorgeous girl was sleeping, looking really sweet in a nightgown, which made me flush even more.

"Wait, she's a girl?"

"Are you blind?"

"I get that you need a king, but why is she here?"

"Well, she's one of the summoned, therefore she'll be allocated to another significant duty to help the kingdom."

"Well, then, let's speak about the payment, shall we?"

The girl and maids in the room looked at me as if I was a jerk.

So, if you want me to work for you, you must pay me.

In response to their gaze, I formed a v-sign.

"Ahh, my head hurts... Who are you and who are you guys? "Please answer " The girl awakens, scratching her head and shouting at us, realizing she is in a strange area with an unknown person. Which I completely understand It demonstrates her normalcy.

"Let me tell you something since this chick will turn simple things into major issues."

"What exactly did you say?" Beatrice yells at me.

"So let us begin," I replied, and began recounting to the girl the narrative of her and my arrival in this strange world.
