The Cursed Pond
Sharp Stepper, Jun Yung, and the others descended deeper into the unknown and perilous caverns of Mt. Bedrock. They were scanning the rocky environment for the mythological Shadow Serpent.
The miners who were hired muscle for the expedition, clambered ahead, their pickaxes ringing out in the dank silence. But as they ventured further, the cave began to twist and turn in ways that seemed almost unnatural. Eventually, the miners were met with a series of traps that would have made Indiana Jones quiver in his boots.
First, they stumbled upon a section of the cave where the walls were lined with poison dart shooters, triggered by the slightest disturbance. The miners, caught off guard, fell in droves, writhing in agony as the darts pumped deadly toxins into their bloodstreams.
Sharp Stepper and the others, watched in horror. They narrowly avoided the same fate by diving behind a nearby outcropping of rock.
